Just Sold my 2019 SV650 after 4 Years on it. Absolutely Loved it. Bomb Proof Bike but was time for something new. Sounds Great with an MTC Can on :) Enjoy and Stay Safe.

Awesome Faye we can see the joy in your face. I love it when a new rider finds their happy place. Reminds us all of why we ride in the first place. I hope this inspires others to learn to ride especially the ladies( who are let’s face it often better drivers/riders than us fellas)

Mine is white and the same blue you've got. I've had it 4 yrs and still take a look back when I walk away from it...every time.😊 I've done some pretty long trips with it and it does everything and more that I ask. I added the SW Motech engine guard and Cortech saddlebags and tailbag. I love this bike. 😊

It's a big bonus having an experienced rider like Sean with you to keep you right as a new rider.You are still on a learning curve for a wee while yet.👍👍

Congrats on the new bike, looks good. My wife has a disability and rides as a pillion. We picked up an FJR this year and are sorting it out while having a great time doing so. We have ridden to the mountains and the coast this year.

It must be brilliant to get the test out of the way, and a nice new bike for Xmas, were all looking forward to the summer and all the exciting trips, congrats and stay safe

By the time the spring / summer comes the SV will become an extension of you Faye & all parts bedded in to your style of riding . You can’t really go wrong with Suzukis they are great value for money & always better than the specs on paper suggest . The SV has proven record & many new ,or good used & quality.aftermarket parts & accessories to fit , so no problem for tours & taking abroad .. Nice trip out to Delamere & the store ,I need to get there myself to suss out some gear when I get rid of man flu . 👍

I remember after passing my test and getting my first big bike and going out with my mates who were all experienced riders just sitting in behind and watching the group and following the lead it really helped me in gaining road experience. I was 49 and even though I was an experienced off road rider having learned to ride at 8 years old and been an hgv driver for 20 odd years bikers road craft is totally different. Keep going g Faye I love your enthusiasm following Shaun will give you confidence and experience looking forward to more great videos

My name is Sheila, I have a blue frame and lovely dark grey tank, my aim is to sheild Faye from all the harm on the roads. I have two cylinders and one goes forward for speed the other goes backwards for safety and braking, they called me a v-twin and I've been around for ages and so reliable and strong. I do 70 mpg so Faye will never run out of fuel. Like I said, my name is Sheila and I'm here to stay:-)

Congrats on choosing the SV. My SV650a has now done 83,000 km and the engine sounds like new. Only oil and filter changes, i never had the valves checked. It never let me down.

Its extremely common to drop a new bike within the first 12 months of owning it. This hold s true even for the experienced pilot. Nice to see the road surfaces are so well made and smooth. have fun

Looking great Faye. I am a big Kawasaki fan, but I think the SV looks great, especially in the black, with blue. As I mentioned in my comment when you reviled which bike you chose, it is a great idea getting a bike you are comfortable with and have experience of for your first big bike. It looks like it fits you really well. You can relax now with no pressure of tests or restrictions and really enjoy riding and you will naturally get more confident and a better rider. Not that I think there is anything wrong with your riding now.

Passed my test 15th December and picked up my very first bike a week ago, 2019 Suzuki SV650. Just waiting on my heated grips to arrive as I can't actually bear to go out at the moment haha. Can't wait to get some experience though, this video has made me really excited to get going!

It’s really nice to see a fellow lady rider! I am thinking of buying this bike, I went to have a look at one in our local bike shop. I am only 5ft 6ins, and can just about reach the ground. They did advise that they could lower it. My first big bike was a Yamaha Fazer 600, which I loved.

Great bike the SV got one myself but did change the stock seat as was very uncomfortable on long rides went for the the tuck and roll seat off the x model does me fine though there are other options out there enjoy the bike

Lowered the front, and the back. I am 5’ 4, so would need to do this also. Why are bikes so high nowadays.

Just watched the video and you mentioned about coming to scotland!! Where will you guys be visiting? A ride out with you would be amazing as we are in Scotland :)

I run the same model SV all year round in all weather's including snow and ice. If you want engine protection I can highly recommend GB Racing engine cases covers. Also some swing arm bobbins will help with any rear damage from a spill.

Hiya congrats on the new bike,bought a Honda rebel 500 in October last year only 371 miles and hit a tipper lorry side on at a tight bend😭. Four fractures in my right hand and left wrist fractured waiting to see if the bike is repairable. So just take things easy while you are getting the feel for the sv.

That the bike I learned on a great choice a great bike I’m 6-2 so just a bit small for me but a great bike on torch start and aunti stall and a great speed pick up x

You got a good dash Fay the screen looks good , are you going to put hand guards on to help keep your hands warm? Once you’ve run it in then you could tour on that as I bet it’s really good on fuel but will have good power aswell. Also good in town , it’s great having a new bike , enjoy 👍🏍😎😊🌻

You never stop learning and it's great to have Shaun with you giving advice and opinions whenever he needs to. By the way, I think you did right getting your bike now and riding in this weather not the freezing/snow/ice but this weather that your riding. You'll be a lot more aware of hazards etc than of waiting for summer rides when it's dry. (My opinion) Whether you go up to Scotland or abroad ride safe and take care 👌

The shiny finish on new tyres is a releasing agent for them to come out of the mould easier according to the man who fitted my new front yesterday. No idea if he's right or bullshitting.

I never washed my AT in 2 years of ownership. And I sold it for £500 more than I paid for it to a main dealership.

I believe the term is "happy dayz" 😊
