Tired of my halogen bulbs burning out.. This is a DIY / Product review on the OPT7 LED headlight kit. Here we're showing how to install a 9007 LED into the Suzuki SX4.

I am happy to report that they have shrunk the silver wire protector piece and the white ring no longer needs to be trimmed for SX4 install! It fits and spins with no issues. We bought the OPT7 Fluxbeam X 9007, 80W. The P/N on the side of the box says 94/97 LED HL (v2.1) 90324-00012.

I would like to install a 3 inches NHK projector but I´m afraid it won´t fit inside the SX4 headlights. I am currently using a OEM 2.5 inches projector, but the performance is far below the desired. Do you know if 3 inches projectors fit?

22/9 22 My 2012 UK 1.6 litre SX4 has wire spring clips - don't recognise those white mouldings. Euro headlamps are a different configuration without the side marker feature. Anyone with large hands would find headlamp bulb changing a pesky job ! The boot/trunk lamp & perhaps interior lighting would benefit from upgrading too. Is the orange coloured engine air filter moulding a modification ?

I have a 2007 Suzuki SX4 how do I find led lights that work for these vehicles before I buy? I know it has running lights built in the headlight bulb & now sure if the led dim like yours im looking on amazon

The Suzuki SX4 uses a 9007 bulb. Most LED replacements should dim the same way. Make sure you do your research before buying, check reviews, and read all the specs. I went with a high quality set which are still working great!

Been using them for about a year now. Still pretty happy with them. Had to aim my headlights down slightly a few weeks later cuz the LEDs changed the beam pattern. The one bulb does flicker occasionally but I think it might just be one of the connections is loose.

It is recommended to disable DRL first? SX4 2010.

The directions didn’t say anything about the DRLs. Basically just showed how to pin the connector and plug it in. Worked just fine without disabling anything. Update tho, I had one if the bulbs burn out on me a couple months ago. Had to switch back to halogens 😒

Good, stay on halogens. Best bulb you can get is Philips Xtremevision 9007 bulbs. Those will actually give you greater length and light output. The reflector housings were designed to work with a halogen filament and the LEDs physically cannot perfectly line up the beam like the halogen bulbs can, and do produce tons of glare. It's just 200 times better to just get the highest quality, brightest halogen bulb.

Fellow Manitoban! One of the bulbs started flickering and burnt out early this spring. Had to replace with regular bulbs again.

Mt Garage Winnipeg?! Cool! Any idea how to replace the front side marker lights? Dealer wants $230 to replace 1 bulb because they say they need to drop the bumper. You read that right! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Matt is 45 mins south of Winnipeg, Tim is in Winnipeg. Those side markers are a pain, but I’ve been able to do it by loosening the headlight to get a bit more wiggle room so I could fit my fingers in to change the bulb. Not easy, but can be done without dropping the bumper.

Mt Garage Thanks! I actually found a video today, CarCareKiosk.com, that shows them actually taking out the headlight bulb to give them enough room to put in the side mark bulb. I told the dealer about that today. I’d do it myself but I can’t even take out the headlight bulb on the right side due to that crazy silver tube that gets in the way Argh! I don’t see that silver tube in your video. Hmm. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!!

Bulbs work as a DRL when when low beams are switched off.

9007 and 9004 bulbs are the same, but the plug is pinned different. it all comes down to warehouse space. why have two separate places for 9007 and 9004 bulbs when you can just have the customer pin it on their own. seems simple enough. if you cant pin and follow directions, you shouldn't be doing it..right? ;) www.auxbeam.com/headlight-bulbs/9007/88623604

Haha ya, true enough Chris Todd. Makes sense from a business stand point for sure. Some consumers may not be expecting it as there is no indication of pinning it yourself on their ad. It simply says "plug and play" But that aside, I'm still happy with how they turned out!

Tengo un SX4 sedán 2011 con motor 2.0 que es de gasolina, intenté poner leds más no me encienden porque parece que usan pulsaciones negativas para los focos halógenos H4 y veo que usaste un convertidor ó solo cambiaste el orden de los cables? Te agradezco de antemano la asesoría
