Pleanty of leg room and I think it looks better than the Yeti. I'll take him a ride int back seats of my 03 Corsa lol.. That'll give him summet to winge about.

He has a good 33 inch leg measurement and has 3 to 4 inches of leg room..guess he would rather u paid a premium price for a Skoda..does Anyone ever feel the dashboard of their car and say " oh my life is over with this hard plastic".it's a smart simple functional car..I would have one and Suzuki build extremely reliable vehicles! Ok wonder if he has a Skoda yeti??

Totally Agree i own a SX4 Sedan and i am 6'4" .. too and there is plenty of Head room and leg room for the front and the rear passengers i mean if i being 6.4 can fit comfortably both front seats without moving backwards and rear seats so there shouldn't be any problem to any other normal person moreover as i own a SX4 Sedan so there's a large boot space as well as compared to any other car in that price range ... :) I would love to own a Sx4 hatch 4x4 but unfortunately its not avail. in India. :(

@@greenfalcon1568 based on most Suzuki's, I'd say not great. The Panda 4x4 is smaller but far better off road and cheaper to run

Mine has quality fit and finish. Hard plastic on dash, but who drives around touching or pressing the dash??!

The reviewer is an idiot, he whines about dashboard quality on everything except for German cars. I've owned all sorts of cars from cheap to and upwards, I've never felt the need to start touching random parts of the interior then go HMMM FEELS A BIT CHEAP THIS!! As I'd rather drive the car.

For sure the 4X4 unless you drive 100 miles on the Autobahn every work day. With 4x4 you have something a bit rare and it's capable in terrain.

I have a 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara, never have a problem with parts. Suzuki parts are still cheaper to ship from overseas compared to a lot of other cars but I haven't had to ship any parts yet

Here in France I have a 2012 model where they put everything in (parking sensors, 2.0 135HP engine, AWD, satnav, Bluetooth … all great except the Bluetooth which is poor quality) and I haven't had any issue at with parts, nor are those that I have changed particularly expensive. I'm currently looking for a second car in the same model to share the mileage but intend keeping this one to around 250K miles, it's done 200K so far with no issues.

why on earth would you like awd at high speeds? :D if i remember correctly, AWD switches to automode around 55 km/h

He also forgot to add that unlike a Skoda it won't leave you stranded on the roadside because it's broken down. Another comparison between driving the SX4 and Skoda, people point and laugh at you when driving a Skoda, while mechanics and parts people rub rheir hands with glee. Yes comparing it to a Skoda definitely seals the deal, it's Suzuki SX4 all the way. By the way, he had enough room for someone to walk past in front of his knees when he was sitting in the back but that's still not enough room for him. Interesting.

it is quite reliable car,it is japanese car with italian diesel engine and it is assambled in hungary hehe;)

For the money and what you get, its brilliant!

Unless you have a very heavy foot you should be getting a lot better fuel economy than that. On the open road at a steady 55 MPH I get around 52-56 MPG in my 2.0 diesel

after driving a few thousands with 1.6 petrol (88 kw and not AWD), it is quiet ok and nearly the same or even lower than the Toyota Corolla TS 1.2 T (petrol, my company car). On the highway, it takes between 6.5 l/100 km at lower speeds above 100 km/h up to 8l/100 km when driving around 140 km/h. On the land roads, you can really get under 6 l/100 km, it is best suited for speeds around 70-100 km/h, above 120 it gets a bit noisier since petrols ones dont have 6th gear. I guess the diesel with 6 gear MT does not have to be so noisy and it can have better fuel economy if you are about driving a lot on highways at higher speeds. With the AWD models, I guess it does consume a few % more (ground clearance + 2 more centimetres at AWD) Enjoy.
