SUZUKI V-STROM 650X - DARTMOOR 2-UP TEST RIDE 

Ah, that's what Dartmoor looks like when it's not raining 😅

We live in a lovely part of the world! Last weekend I rode the coastal road from Exmouth to Torcross, followed by a loop over Dartmoor...Stunning on a clear day! I've always regarded the V-Strom 650 as being a capable bike. Thanks for sharing. Cheers. 👍

Hi Jeff and Twinks, nice to see you both out having fun on the Bee Strom. Interesting that Twinks remembers you taking her out for chips and yet you don't.. Clearly, you buying her chips was a real highlight for young Twinks 😁 So now you know what to do next time she has a birthday or you have some sort of anniversary Jeff. It's okay Twinks, you can thank me later 😂 I'm glad to hear that it seems as though the Bee Strom is going to work for you both on the trips you'd like to do. I could definitely see myself loving one of those. Just the right amount of size and power to get the touring job done in a competent manner without being excessive in any regard. Wish that was the weather on the social ride. 😂 Dartmoor is definitely one of my favourite places to ride through. Beautiful views. If you ever walking around Dartmoor, I recommend visiting Haytor Quarry. Hidden away but beautiful part to view if you not seen it yet.

That was about the best day in April if I remember correctly, SB. You certainly made a good choice of bike in the V.

Excellent SB a ride through the moor on a sunny day what could be better, Twinks as pillion of coarse. The audio between both of you was crystal clear and getting input from a pillion's perspective is always helpful. Gwenelin performed "As it says on the tin" I didn't really expect less. I hope the weather's better with you today for the social ride and everyone has a Jolly Good Time. It's absolutely Persisting it down up here 😖

Nice little ride out on a beautiful day you’ve got to do it because you only get the odd day at the moment I’ve missed loads of them because of daily chores to do but hopefully it will change and more sunny days in a row will come oh well at least I’ve got holiday in your area is getting nearer take care ride safe

I have the same bike and 2 up regularly. Handles brilliantly and plenty of grunt! Awesome 650 and bike enough for two.

Lovely scenery and the sun being out as well! I never got to try my Vstrom with a pillion, but it does seem highly capable , looks like a thumbs up from Twinks.

The Nomad 1700 is a really turingbikw. However, when I ripped my armmussels I could not ride him anymore. Now I ride lighter bikes witch I can hold uppright with my feet. Nice video by the way❤❤

The Vstrom 650 is indeed very comfy for two up. Your wife said that the Nomad was excellent, but you sold it. What now? Joke. You have two very good bikes, the 411 and the Vstrom. Ernie is a single seat as I remember. :)

I'm not a fan of grab rails, I much prefer grabbing the rider. It is easier to stay on, it's warmer and you can move with the rider, so more stable. Have a brilliant ride today. I'll be at the last ever Bideford Bike Show 😊

Ah. So that's what Dartmoor looks like. Didn't recognise it without water running down the inside of my visor. That bike keeps passing every test you throw at her. Should be perfect for Ireland.

Obviously you have made a wise choice in purchasing this bike, I think should consult you when considering my next bike… On that subject, I have found my old Tribute 500 for sale at a stealership, I said to myself… Self, you have to get her back… What a dilemma 🤷🏻‍♂️🤪🫣.
