It remains one of the UK’s most baffling unsolved disappearances, with police no closer to solving the 36 year old mystery. On 28th July 1986, 25 year old estate agent Suzy Lamplugh, left her office in Fulham to meet a client called ‘Mr Kipper’ and was never seen again. But in 2000 police reopened the case and established John Cannon, who is serving three life sentences for rape and murder, as the prime suspect. Sadly Suzy’s parents died without ever learning the truth of what happened to their daughter but following news last week that Cannan is on ‘his deathbed’, it is now feared that the truth about Suzy will be lost forever. Criminologist Professor David Wilson joins us to discuss the facts of the case.

A motion for early release by John Cannan was denied by a parole board in October 2023....

I think that the work diary entry which listed an appointment to view a property with a Mr Kipper could potentially have been a discrete first date meeting during work hours, and the surname Kipper could actually a 'redherring'diary entry, meant to look like a client booking to view a property.

So John Cannan was on his death bed in June 2022 receiving palliative care but according to Wiki he is still alive..Oct 2023

The so called witness of Cannan lookalike struggling with a trunk on wheels on the footbridge of the Grand Union Canal was a truck driver who had reported it three times to the police in 1986. The most recent dredge of that canal was 30 Sept 2014 when Police dicovered the body of Alice Gross who's body was found hidden on the bed of the River Brent. The Police had said they had dredged the Brentford end around the footbridge and nothing was discovered.

John cannon is known as the British ted Bundy... But Suzie could have been a victim of Steve Wright as she worked with him on p&o ferry...weird she came in contact with two separate serial killers
