Lmao I love how everyone calls zero a kid or little when he’s maybe the oldest character or one of the oldest characters in this game, being like 200 years old.
Zero was created in 20XX, which is when Classic Megaman series take place. Megaman X is said to happen 100 years after the end of the Classic series, making it 21XX. Zero series occur 100 years after X series, making it 22XX. You do the math.
I love how Athena decides to challenge Zero to a swordfight to see if he deserves to return to his timeline. It's things like this that make me wonder if SvC Chaos is canon to the Zero series.
I like his intro with Iori the most. Maybe because they're two of my favorite characters (the others being Geese and Orochi Ken). I also like the boss intros for having the original WARNING from the first ZERO.
Zero is unusually cocky in this game. The Zero I once knew was at least level-headed and was a big brother figure. Oh but I forgot; its a different time.
He’s been pretty cocky throughout the x series (he was also called a kid there) as seen with zero saving x proclaiming that x could even be as strong as he is in the Japanese translation and his interaction with frost walrus and this also comes up in the zero series when he fights the devil creature in zero 1 saying that he’s a slime and that he should get lost. While he is cool headed during his interactions with his allies (mostly) he tends to show that he doesn’t have time for mavericks that he goes up against and wants to take down the big figures like copy x and sigma
Zero was pretty cocky in UMVC 3 too. When he faces Captain America, he said “Stop lecturing and show me what you got!” and when Zero beats him, “I don’t listen to lectures from losers.”. And when he defeat Frank West, he said “You may have covered wars, but you’re still a civilian.”. Also he dissed Arthur, “You called that a sword?”.

Zero is like 200 years old, but he looks like a kid now because of the redesign they gave him in Megaman Zero. Personally, I don't like the new design they gave him but I can do without the big green breasts from the X series though.
so i take it no one told the localization team the whole irregular/maverick thing also treating zero-era zero as a maverick hunter is kinda weird, especially since snk was aware of mmz1's ending, if zero's ending is anything to go off of
Well I was talking about that in japanese version megaman zero called "Irregular Hunters" instead the american version to "Maverick Hunters" so is suppose to say Mavericks not Irregulars

I still wish that SNK had quit the whole obscure random characters for this game with Mega Man and Metal Slug, they messed up the last opportunity to have let Mega Man fight Marco Rossi without using M.U.G.E.N. Oh well, maybe if Capcom vs SNK 3 is ever made they can correct that error.
Purple Stoner Midget™ that with every crossover with capcom. look at marvel vs capcom. they put roll, tron, sakura, jill, serverbot, zangief, cammy, and dhalsim in and i'm sure that nobody wanted to see them in there. if they do make a capcom vs snk 3, you can bet they'll throw in some purely random characters like what they did with capcom vs snk 2.
@@UltimaKeyMaster The Mega Man Zero version of Zero was such a strange choice for this game instead of Mega Man himself (or X), although it was admittedly a pretty interesting choice since Mega Man Zero was the newest Mega Man series at the time so I get the idea behind it. I'm still perplexed by the fact that SNK made an enemy from Metal Slug playable in a fighting game before any of the playable agents, Marco being in NeoGeo Battle Coliseum was cool but it really feels like he should have been in this game first.
***** I've seen Mega Man done correctly a couple times in the VS series. Why couldn't Capcom just inspire that Mega Man in SNK VS Capcom with Mega Man X? It just feels weird without the main character of MMX in beside zero.
Oh, I see what you mean. I'm guessing as centuries went by, the original Mega Man became a verb for the others (except Exe because he is an alternate dimension Mega Man).
Zero... a kiddo? OK let's started. Zero born beforee the end of the first megaman series, then, he appears in the first 3 parts of X saga of megaman, an then he goes to megaman x 4 to 8 (an in megaman X6 he rest for a I don't knew how many hundred of years) and all the time he sleeps untiel Ciel find him. I think Zero is one of the oldest chacacter of this game (excuse me for my grammar I'm not to good yet with that O_O)
He always was. In fact I'd like it if in that one part where he says "What did you say?!" if Zero would reply "I said you're pathetic, that's what." That'd be funny. I bet Dan would be super pissed.
