I think Mariska would make an excellent real life lead SVU Detective in the NYPD. I say this because even though she’s an actress, I think the acting element side of her playing Olivia Benson has very likely given her a certain amount of training that might be similar to real life so then if she did decide to quit acting and go into the police she can use that training she learnt from acting and apply it to real life. 😀👍

I believe she was 34 years old when the pilot aired. Now she is in her mid-50's and still pretty. How does she do it?
