thanks Dibbs I really appreciate that! Yeah, basically I've been having stomach issues for about 8 months now. I finally got in to see a doctor and we concluded that it could be severe gastritis. I'm on this medication called Lanosprazole and the side effects are pretty strong. But, I'm soldering on as best as I can. I just have had no energy and making videos is hard at the moment also because of the heatwave. I am slowly working on another review hopefully Tomb Raider 2which is going to be a longer video. I'm currently on the stage where Lara needs 3 circuit breakers on the Maria Doria. Thanks to watching speed runners,I also discovered that most of the levels, you can just cheese. There's a good one in the opera house where you can literally do a banana jump and get to the end of the stage. This cuts out pretty much the whole level meaning that you don't have to find the circuit board and the keys! From what I've read, Fear Effect 2 isn't too long about 9 hours for a casual play . From what I've played it's probably longer than the first game. I must be at the half way point now. but I think first time players (myself included may struggle with the many puzzles on the beginning. There does seem to be far more than is necessary. As you have seen some of them I really struggled with. The games is awesome but I think they throw too much of them in there when all I really want to do is blast the baddies. Sorry to hear that the retro games night was pretty chaotic. Great that he was able to save all the retro consoles too. They certainly don't make buildings like they used too. Was it like a mixture of Nintendo and Sega consoles or were there any others? Must have felt great to relive some memories by playing some classic games! Recently, whilst I'm recovering.I've got back on Steam and I bought Shadowman remastered. I'm slowly working my way through it. I have to say it's amazing. The graphics have been improved and there's extra stages and dark souls. It's still confusing but man I couldn't stop playing! @@swaggerblonde no prob! So the retro game night had Megadrive, SNES, PS2, Xbox and GameCube. He owned more but just bought a selection - I asked if he had a Saturn but he didn’t have it with him so that was sad for me, but it was well catered for with other machines! He had these lists of games you could play and there were quite a few! I thought he must have an Everdrive for each machine but he had the proper carts for each game so it was quite a selection! Thankfully he’d had the games all boxed pretty well in plastic containers so they were protected from the flood. We got them all up on the tables so they avoided the water except for one which got wet on the bottom coz the water came in so fast but they were fine in the end. Pretty close one though, it was the last thing I would have expected! He’d been running the event there for years and nothing like that had ever happened so it must’ve been quite a deluge!
