I have a question, I am to afraid to deep clean and even press my key silver age books worth over $1k do I was going to send them in for clean& press with CCS and then CGC. What do you think of the ccs pressing, cleaning? I've only used 3rd party for this but my books go through to many hands and to much shipping when using 3rd party I feel.
It has a lot to do with the color of the paper used, which varies by era and age. Think about the new glossy moderns... those page colors aren't exactly white to begin with, but that is the designation they get. I actually don't have an owl-card, but that it a handy tool to use to estimate page color.
