I have 920 hrs with Bush caddy R-120 and a Y control stick and it so easy to get in and out.

Totally agree, I flew a Waiex with dual sticks and couldn't stand it. I was instantly in the market for a center stick, think my next airplane should have one too.

@@LeftSeatAdventures I believe dual stick was an option and the standard setup was a "y" control.

Oh I know a Rotax 912ULS or 912iS would be lighter, but the combination of a reconditioned Continental O-200 on a Ch750 (in either Cruzer or STOL format) just appeals to me!

Thanks Bryan.... I can't help but feel a little skeptical about the weight, maybe with the helium bladder installed! I always enjoy watching any aviation activities especially when Zenith aircraft are involved. Thanks again and Blue Skies!

YES... I am thinking he needs to weigh it again himself. Most likely it will be closer to 850lbs. :-)

My 750 with the Jabiru 3300 is 785 dry.

Hi Bryan, great video as always! My o-200 powered 750 came in at 840lbs with full oil, un-useable fuel, small tires, and no paint. Otherwise similarly equipped. Maybe he saved weight somewhere, hope to see the plane in person someday so I learn and make mine lighter! Keep up the good work!

I've watched quite a few of your videos and I finally subscribed. I'm working on getting the money together for Flight School. I'd like to at least get my light sport certification and then I want to get something stole capable. So that I can get off the beaten path for camping and fishing. This channel is really showing me a lot about what's available and what people do with their planes to optimize them for their mission. Keep up the good work.👍

@@ExperimentalAircraftChannel thanks for the encouragement. I wanted to be a pilot as a kid but due to circumstances. I gave up on the dream. A few months ago I met an actual flight instructor in a virtual reality flight simulator. He told me I had a feel for it and that I should pursue it. That rekindled the dream and ever since then I've been obsessed.😁

Is the engine mount the same one from the Cessna 150? I own a Cessna 150 with this engine and would consider putting the engine in a Zenith 750 STOL one day.

That plane looks way under powered.

It was actually way "over propped" it has been replaced with a different propellor and performs much better...gets off now in about 4 seconds on a 95 degree day...
