This channel is dedicated to exploring and showcasing the incredibly amazing hobby and passion of Experimental, Light-Sport and Ultralight Aircraft and more specifically Aircraft Building, Assembly and Construction. So join me as we meet new and unique individuals who share our passion as Builders, Owners and Flyers of Kit Aircraft. We will stop in to see what they are building, how they came to the decision to build that specific model and how they have enjoyed the journey thus far showcased as a "mini-documentary."
I am located in Florida and welcome inquiries from anyone who is building, manufacturing/supplying, owning or flying their own aircraft and would like to be featured on this channel.
As an A&P and iRMT, the main difference between this and the Rotax is that Zongshen does not give a damn if you die behind their engine, they will publish exactly 0 ADs, 0 TSBs, and they have exactly as much liability in the USA as the guy who sold the fentanyl sharing the Conex this turd rides over the ocean in.
Ahhhhhhh. Nicely done. No aluminum rods or stainless rods as in the first video I watched. This one is done right. Epoxy filled. My bad. The first video was from ultralight helicopter, not your channel.
The Moose really is an airframe looking for an engine. The O-540 doesn't cut it. I don't like automotive conversions. Neither will the mechanic at your local airfield. A Soviet era Russian Radial? No thanks. Good luck with the reliability and getting it serviced. A turbine engine seems like overkill. What the kitplane industry needs is an Aluminium equivalent to a Bearhawk Bravo (the 4-place Bearhawk). To Moose is simply too big.
Are these type of planes designed with belly landings in mind? like what if the electric landing gear doesn't open do you get shredded from the bottom up?
Qual valor desse equipamento de asa giratória onde comprar qual velocidade de cruzeiro é distância ponto a ao b exemplo q podemos navegar. Tenho interesse.
Cheap, lite ‘n reliable makes a good aircraft engine, not necessarily this order. Sadly these metrics are very squishy and the combo is hard or impossible to find nowadays. Thoroughly sorted out Conversions seem like the way out dilemma but that’seasier said than done 😢.
Strange what people will notice. My father was an amateur builder. He passed it on to me except the enthusiasm. The walls of the shop are old. Diagonal pine on outside walls ended in the early 50’s because of cost and an on going shortage of building materials post WS2. What does that have to do with experimental aircraft? Nothing. I have that thing where you can’t stay focused on one thing for very long. ADD
Each to their own but imo turning the Moose into a tri gear is a backwards step. To me it doesn’t make sense to use the excuse of being a low time pilot . Plenty of pilots like me trained in tail wheel aircraft from the start, then did a easy conversion to tri gear later.
Example of more money than sense. If you need a capable gravel/soft field aircraft, use the C206 with the 29" tire STC. Plus insurance is cheaper than a Moose
A man with a messy shop will 100% out preform any OCD child that thinks work isn't dirty. You can keep your lab coat and rubber gloves, ill be doing actual work in my dirty coveralls kid
