In today's video we swap the frames from an old rusty one onto a new galvanised Marsland unit! It's great to see this as a rolling chassis after seeing it so corroded! Please Subscribe Email: info@juicemotors.com Instagram: @juicemotors
How many hours labour roughly to do a chassis swap on a 300tdi 110 ? I have the price for a chassis. What should i budget for additional parts, all new fasteners etc? Im thinking of purchasing a 98 300tdi defender but rear half of chassis is dead.
Love the videos, really hope the next video shows an order of some sort of what needs to be removes first, second, third ect... cause I'm thinking of changing the bulkhead on mine and it's the only job I'm a bit worried about doing. And iv done a lot of big jobs on the car already, so it will be nice to see what way you guys do it... Best of luck guys
i aint seen a chassis that manky in a long time keep up the good work, always put carpet on the forks to stop them taking the galv off or damaging it ,we had to handball a 110 off a rather large waggon when it was about 15 feet in the air that was fun without any damage.
Super cool Video!! I hit a wall, with my 2005 TD5 and distorted the chassis. Underbody was just freshly done. Now would like to swap the chassis with a galvanized one. Motor Vehicle Dep. here in Switzerland is really picky about distorted chassis. Other wise TD5 ‘s in real good shape, no rust. Is there a step by step manual or video? Or, how much for you guys to do it for me?
Another brilliant vid. I do think it would be good to get a little bit longer of a vid, for us Defender nuts. Maybe you could do this sort of version and then an ‘extended’ slow time sort of video for us nuts. Would be good to run through some costs of parts etc. Looking forward to the next episode.
Wow another great day in the life of you guys, good to see it all coming together so nicely. Question did you go for a Marsland chassis with them stamping in the vehicle’s chassis number? if so does the format look just like the Factory original? Looking forward to the next video as I’m sure it will be another awesome one. 😎👍
@@juicemotors it is not necessary to "own" a Golden Retriever to notice that particular one looks unhappy compared to many others that I have encountered. Google: "happy golden retriever" to see what.happy ones look like 😉
