I don't have a CB but I do miss my DA. I now have a 2000 BB6 Prelude with an H23 Vtec in it. I am in love with 90s era hondas though so I am glad I cam across this.
look me up on IG and shoot me a message. my name is the same, if your serious I can do my best to make arrangements for you to pick up the F20B after the holidays are over,
It’s all love bro and I’m always down for the right cause just wait till we have that big car meet just got to set the location and date Honda gang and thanks bro I didn’t know you put my the car in your video that’s real fam big ups to you
Already know bro. Got my eye on a cb7 for myself hopefully I can get it this weekend. Miss them things lol. Keep me posted on 5he meet fam🙏 have a great Thanksgiving homie
Aye listen bro. Mfs ain’t never Hurd or seen one of your videos this my first. I have to say this video is excellent. How my face lit up when you looked underneath to see the backfire l, all and all a beautiful video keep up the good work. Subbed up np
Man me and u got same luck with cb7's lost mine in April girl pulled out infront of me I was Doin 50 into a tricking Ridgeline of all things I almost died fr on a ventlater for two days I'm lucky to be here
I don’t nothing about MODS so my question is, can you swap any type of engine inside 97 honda accord lx 16 valve I want to do the same swap you did F23A or H22 I also want to keep automatic transmission
Great job! I want to do the same thing to my 98 model I just changed the engine in it from a 2000 Accord 2.3. Having issues shifting tho. Any videos on the shift solenoids?
Still got to get rid of that dam black box in front of firewall on pass side, also im running POA vtec ecu from 94 accord ex as well as 94 ex intake manifold and throttle body however if i use the map sensor on throttle body the car wont run right or even start, but if i use the vacuum port map sensor that was on factory f22 it will run flawlessly but the ecu intake manifold/throttle body are combination used in 94 accord ex, so why it wont in cb7 i haven't actually attempted to dig deep into the matter since runs perfectly with vacuum port map, smh.
Hey bro do you have to run the black box under the intake manifold.ive got a h23 from j spec and the nippls for the vacuum lines where broke do you have to run the black box or can you delete it and if so how would it effect the performance. Thanks bro.
The stock harness will work on the h23a vtec? What about the alternator and the injectors and the iacv I know the obd2 alternator plugs are different than obd1 so will you use the obd1 alternator?? And wire up the obd2 plugs to the obd1 harness that much you covered but still what about the three wire and the two wire iavc and isn't the oil pressure switch different. And is the crank positioning sensor located in the dizzy on jdm motors so you can run a obd1 p28 and it will run fine? You haven't covered those basis in none of your other videos.
If im using a riwrire distributor harness for this swap do i conect all the coil wires on the cb7 harnesses to send fire to the coil in the h23 distributor?
I got a 93 accord with still original motor F22a. I still want to keep a.c an Power steering. So what other parts do I need an from what car? will I need to make the H23A vetch work in my 93 accord.. thanks.. I live around the Area as well. Thanks. Or we could meet up
F22 trans at the time of this video but it now has a h22 one in it. Stock wiring has slight modifications that have to be done but its simple and I explain it several times in my videos
Good video bro , I currently have a 01 6th gen accord & want more power don't get me wrong I like my f23A1 sohc ! But what can you recommend for a good swap thats affordable for us budget guys thank you in advance & keep up the good work & vidz..... much love & respect stay blessed 💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏
I’m curious, you were saying how easy it was just to drop the block in. Is it easier to go H in a CB7 than say B or K? I’ve been looking at CB7s now for awhile and I’ve always wanted a 92-93. So if it’s easier to go H then it seems only logical to go H
That’s decent, civics are where I’m at but I’m trying to get into accords also. So what’s a decent price for a H series? Of course it varies but a reasonable budget for a H swap would be?
i have 1994 accord wagon lx with a 37820-P0A-A01 ecu, swapping in a H23. i know you've talked about this before but I've watched too many of your videos and sadly didn't take notes like i should have. also which company makes that slick 3 plug adapter you've used? which ecu would be best and any info would be greatly appreciated. this is going to stay mostly stock and will be my daily driver, just figured I'd throw in a motor with a decent amount of power vs the f22b1 that came stock in it.
It all depends on what you're willing to spend. You can have some fun either way. If you want a swap...look for a prelude being parted out etc. Pick and pull is your friend as well🤣
Just starting this cb7 swap.. Do I need to change the intake manifold or can the stock one work? I was advised to get the Skunk 2 for H23 pde swap. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated..
Ok I'm having a issue with my fuel rail on my F20B sohc VTEC. Could I just swap it with the F22A4 fuel rail also would I have to change the injectors? The other thing is I have both ECU's meaning the stock F22A4 and the stock F20B sohc VTEC, where do I plug the VTEC wire and which ECU should I use? I'm using cjs_wiring for the VTEC wire.🤔🤔🤔
Use your stock F22 fuel rail dude and you can use your fuel line otherwise you have to get one made that's longer... As far as ECU... Best bet get a chipped P28
@@ChannelAHHA definitely Bro.. And you can definitely use your stock injectors.. And for the vtec wiring.. Google OBD1 VTEC Pinout should be plug A pin #4..
Hey bro is it too hard to swap an engine like this one on this video? Or if you can guide me I can pay you just let me know what I need and I'd you are able to do it.
Its not hard bro. Best thing i can tell you is to start working on it. Its hard to understand it until you actually put your hands on it. If you have any sorta knowledge of cars and how they work tho I believe you will be fine
Hey man i live in the Bahamas and i really wanna know if i swap an H22 into my Cg 4door will it run well on my stock ecu? Or is it a MUST that i get a chipped ecu?
Alright man appreciate the response love what you doin. Where are you getting all these f20bs' and H23s' lol!! These alot of F20Bs here but not in the condition you seem to find um
