Swatch Big Bold Jelly - TOO OLD FOR THIS? 

The Swatch Big Bold are mostly very funny accessories, very fashionable, the work of color and transparency because Swatch uses plastic and silicone on this watch. It doesn't compare to any other watch. This Swatch is really special, you either like it or you don't, I love it!

I have this and the first one, the Big Bold Jelly with the yellow seconds hand, blue minutes hand, and red hours hand, I also have the black one reviewed because I had a discount from SWATCH, and it costs me $65.00. The reason I bought them is I have the original SWATCH Jellies from the late 80’s. One of them is the Golden Jelly, my favorite with the entire movement pieces and even the long dead battery plated in gold. All are still working perfectly. I had the exchange the BB Jelly with the colored hands because the seconds hand, in fact, all three hands were slightly misaligned, and that drove me nuts! New one is perfect. I only bought them because of my original vintage Jellies, but these new ones are the biggest watches I own, bigger than my Rolex GMT II. Honestly too big. But I like them, not love them like my vintage Jellies. NOT buying any other colors of this watch series. Very comfortable to wear though!

I love these, I have two... Dark taste and this black on Jelly (Both clasics). The silicone straps are a million times better than my Seiko SKX 007 from Japan.

I work at Swatch & I honestly felt that the Big Bold family is one of the most ugliest family collections… until I discovered Dark Taste.

I have $1000 Longines VHP GMT (owned by Swatch) with the exact same second hand alignment issue. 🙄 Love the watch but THAT issue triggers my OCD.

I love the design and the idea but the execution of it makes me say no. After I heard you describe the hour indicies as stickers my opinion of the watch instantly flipped. For me the fact that it's plastic isn't the issue of the quality, it's the way it looks build and quality of the face. Disappointing that they charge that much for it. If it was cheaper or the same price but better manufacturing I'd go for it

Beyond Swatch being one of the pioneers of analog quartz watches. I never understood why they cost more than twice the competition. I do not doubt that they are good, but the price is going out of hand.

It's not a question of age. It's a question of style. These abominations are almost as ugly as the Pop- and Scuba Swatches. No gentleman would wear this.
