There are 11 pieces, all named after planets, each with their own unique colourway. The material for all of the pieces is bioceramic, which is patented by Swatch. All models have a Velcro strap and the indexes and hands feature the same type of Super-LumiNova used for Omega Speedmasters, emitting a green emission in the dark.
None of the pieces are limited edition or numbered. True to the Speedmaster’s form, the diameter of the watch is 42mm, the thickness is 13mm. The readability of the chronograph display is also extremely Speedmaster-esque, which is all the more impressive because all watches are being manufactured from the Swatch factories. On each caseback sits an image, directly from NASA, of the respective planet.

New gen of people brought into the Omega brand? Young people that can’t afford the real deal can get a £200 Omega Speedmaster Swatch! Then maybe later on when they can afford they buy into a real Omega. similar to how tiffany & co sell more budget friendly 925 silver keychains and pendants to get people into the brand.
