hey y'all, thanks for letting me know that some of you are getting crash errors again. I'm going to re-upload like I did with the other video, it's the only thing I can think to do (I don't want to erase the first upload, because it seems like most people are able to view it). Does anyone know if this is happening on other creators' videos right now? I don't see a "known issues" note about this in the YT creator studio, but I'm still assuming it's a problem on RU-vid's end because nothing has changed about my editing or upload processes, and also because it's not a universal problem. I'll start keeping a close eye on my upload process, though, in case there's something I'm not catching. Same as below. It’s only happening with this video and one of the others (where you picked what makeup you’d want for your ideal collection if you lost everything). And it seems to work fine on my computer, just not on the phone.
I'm only 2 minutes into the video, but I just wanted to stop and say that I absolutely love this tendency you have for saying explicitly what you're about to do and then doing it. Like you say "i'm going to swatch the top five shadows on my fingers and then the bottom five shadows" etc and then you perform the action. For some reason it reminds me of children's shows (like Reading Rainbow or something). There's just something very reassuring and satisfying about it--these little micro moments of setting up our expectations and then meeting them. It makes me feel very secure.
@@littlewingedzebra oh interesting! i've never been able to sit through a whole asmr video (the little noises and whispering makes my skin crawl). cool that hannah is able to use some asmr elements in a way where i can still watch it
@@sugaCat363 i can't stand whispering either, and i do not understand how ASMR and whispering have become synonymous. to me some people just naturally have that kind of soothing voice and way of speaking. shockingly, trisha paytas did some very good asmr videos at some point. also, if you're curious, the channel GreenBeauty ASMR does some very nice normal or almost normal voice videos, and SouthernASMR Sounds (who has like, hundreds of videos) did a series called ASMR Obvious Roleplay in which she plays a teacher explaining to a group of aliens what really mundane, everyday objects are. sounds nuts, i know, but it is soothing. also, many times i find people speak too slowly (that also irks me), so i listen to a lot of it at least 1.5x speed. :-)
@@littlewingedzebra that honestly sounds amazing and explaining things to aliens sounds like a enough storytelling that i could get on board with it (it occurs to me that something else i don't like about asmr is the idea that the person is whispering AT me). Thanks for the suggestion!
Oh my goodness, I just got home from a 24 hour visit to the hospital to have my heart checked and I am resting. This is exactly what I needed. I love to swatch as almost color meditation so this is perfect. Thank you Hannah

Video stopped and gave the message: “Something went wrong, tap to retry”. So you do and it just plays up to the same spot where the video stops. 😟. However, if you move the red bar a titch you can get continue with the video. 😄
I saved this video to watch right before going to bed! It was the most relaxing and soothing video of the quarentine! Thank you Hannah :) Also, the lila palette should totally be renamed as the Sadie palette. My favourite shades were Sadie's behaviour and Sadie's meow ❤️ PS. the texture of the roèn shadows is unreal!!

I enjoyed this video. Watching the swatches was fun, too bad you lost that footage, but at least it wasn't the most exciting palette you have. I want a Natasha Denona palette (either a mini or the smaller 15 pan), but she hasn't released the perfect color story for me to buy one. The newest one she's released this week is pretty, but still isn't me, but that middle grayish olive shade is stunning for a matte (I like shimmery eyeshadows the best, so I tend to wear those the most). Will you do a single eyeshadow swatch party please? That would be a great addition to the swatching series you have going right now.

Hi all, just a heads up not to order the Alma palette. There are issues with it and Amy is no longer working with the brand. It’s not her fault, but a lot of people have been saying the formula they received is horrible and not the same that was sent in PR. You can google it to find the post where Amy talks about it but don’t waste your money.
I knew that already- I remember asking her why she was working with such a crappy company and she got all defer on me - but this has always been an issue with them

Nabla’s latex matte is a very interesting formula, it looks and blends like a matte but it behaves like a shimmer, that’s why it works better with a finger
i’m watching 6 hours after the upload on mobile, and also got the something went wrong message. as others mentioned before though, there’s a workaround to continue watching. thanks for making this content hannah! i’m really considering buying the new roen quad but i haven’t decided yet.
Will you try to depot the Kevyn Aucoin shades that you like? Aaand would you consider doing a form of palette demonstration with the ND Lila Palette? Maybe 3-looks-1-Palette... I would appreciate some guidance in using this gem ^^

Terrific presentation! Nice to see the swatches and hear your thoughts on the colors and performance. I read some comments that some viewers were not able to see the entire video, I did have that experience from my iPad, however not at my PC. I loved the touch of renaming the one palette for Sadie, so cute. - Palette Hugs to you xxoo!
I really enjoy watching you swatch eyeshadows and I love swatching myself. I haven't worn my eyeshadow palette yet because there is no occasion right now, of course! But I have swatched all the shades onto my arm several times. I like digging my finger and looking at the shimmery colours. In case you are looking for ideas for videos: I would love some advice on what you think the most natural blushes are for different skin tones and undertones. I tried out the Miel Glacé in a department store before all this began and it looked like a highlighter on me! It would be satisfying, I think, to see a range of different faces (photos?) and for you to talk us through the skin colours and types and make some conjectures about what might look good. Only if that seems fun to you. Look after yourself and make the content you enjoy. :) Stay well.
Jennifer Flinchum I have 52• cool and I’m not as interested in 11:11. I did find one video demoing it and it is more “rusty” than Sephora pictures convey but the color story doesn’t do it for me
Wow I was really shocked to see how much more appealing the persona and nabla pallets look swatched out. And how much LESS appealing the ND lila pallet looks when it's swatched. Way less purple. Xxx
Really enjoyed this vid! This and your other swatching videos have inspired me to swatch all of my lip products. Also I didn't have any problems with the video at all. It seems like people who watched the video within the hour it was live/uploaded did tho.

Lauren Johnson that’s funny bc I have that palette and it’s my least favorite shade. The texture is phenomenal but the gold is so stark! But Cava is LOVE
seeing the rowen shadows so up close reminds me a lot of some shadows i have from kiko milano, they did duos in what to me looks like a very similar formula and noe they do them in singles. Thought Id tell you un case you were looking for more colors/some cheaper options!

I think a fun video idea would to swatch all your eyeshadows, singles included, and group together all the shadows that have the same name. During this video I heard a lot of name repeats and it would be cool too see.
The Rowen shadows look like the new diamonds from Adept. I’m still waiting on my order from them. Rowen is out of my budget right now but on my wish list
You sound like you are rediscovering your eyeshadow as you swatch each shade. I feel the same way when I reopen and swatch palettes I haven’t used recently. It’s hard to keep everything in your makeup mind palace as I believe you’d say. I restarted my RU-vid app and was able to finish the video. Hope all is well.

Love how relaxing the tone of the video is. And no shade, but it sounds a little like you've smoked something. Probably just how slow and deep your voice is here. Makes me a bit uncomfortable
