Thank you for doing these swatch cards and the comparisons…it really made up my mind as to purchase them or not. I loved them!! It makes such a difference seeing them swatched out. They are going on my Amazon list! I’m also going to watch another RU-vid you have on swatching…I really think that is a great idea! Swatching your paints, putting them in plastic sleeves and using them in comparisons is a great idea. Thank you so much for sharing! Nell

That’s great! It is hard to decide what colors you want to add to your collection without seeing them swatched out. Sometimes we buy colors that are so close to colors we already have. I’m so happy to help out!

Hi Jade! It’s good to hear from you! I was actually thinking of you yesterday and wondering how you were doing because I hadn’t heard from you in awhile. I hope you and your family are doing well. I’m doing good, thank you for asking! Yes the Mayan blue is very nice. And different enough from the other blues to justify adding it to your paint box.

@@kimberlyhyltonart I'm so glad you're good!! I agree, the Mayan blue is just such a gorgeous mix of blue and green, leaning towards green ... beautiful. And a bit grey... like a slate blue/green maybe. Either way, it is gorgeous! Thank you for asking...some health issues have been bad...and insurance kept turning down my surgery, canceling it last minute twice :/ this is the type of stuff I'd talk about if I get the guts to write the chronic pain/art blog i want to do....because I know so many go through this junk. They finally approved it for middle/end of March. So thats good, bit its a major and dangerous surgery, some time in ICU and then some time in reg hospital...and no guarantee it'll work of course...but...he think it will help give my less pain and numbness and weakness in my arms. Well, doing my right side first, if it works then the left, if it doesn't, obviously not. Then last Saturday my sweet lil parrot of 25yrs...had her from new born...died suddenly. But it sadly took a few minutes, but I was able to have her in my chest talking to her. But its triggered some stuff in my head...and having her so long she's just a part of everything so ill start talking to her as I enter the room before I realize she's not there...so...just been a bit of a mess. But....it'll take time bit it'll be ok. Its just those out of the blue things where you forget and do your normal habits you've done for 25 yrs and the kick to the gut when you remember. It'll ease with time...a lot of time ;) Anyway...it'll all be fine :) Hope you have a great rest of the weekend!!!!🥰

@@jadedenthusiasms I’m so sorry you have been dealing with so much. I’ve had a few surgeries in the past and I can understand how difficult dealing with insurance companies are. Aside from all the worry and uncertainty. I hate to hear of your parrot passing. I’ve had several different birds over the years. I’ve had love birds, parakeets, and cockatiels. My favorite was the cockatiel. Her name was Daisy, she was hand tame and would give you kisses. She accidentally got outside and flew away. She never found her way back. I will keep you in my prayers. I hope everything goes well with your surgery. Take care and have faith that it will get better.

@@kimberlyhyltonart thank you Kimberly:) I'm so sorry about Daisy 🥺 she sounds like such a sweetheart!!! Cockatiel's are so fun! Loads of personality packed in those lil bodies :) I'm just so so so sorry about her 🥺 I picture her having a blast flying around and maybe eventually finding another home with nice people looking out for her❤ my Petrie got out once when we loved in Oregon...I had her out and someone walked in the front door and scared her and she bolted...she wasn't one to fly a ton, so she sort of drifted to the end of the street, a good ways, and sat there shaking like a leaf when my husband and son were running to grab her, luckilysince she'sa very bright yellow, with orange and blue and green wings she was pretty easy to see. She was very happy to cuddle up in my shirt and hair...her favorite place :) we had her since she was just old enough to leave after being born...she laughed at jokes, had better timing then some people😄, copied our noises, sneezed if we did, said I love you all the time and we had our own little clicking language, she LOVED baths and when I had her in my shoulder while doing dishes I couldn't get any done cuz she just kept running down my arm to get in the water...but it was the cutest thing ever so I never minded...she gave sweet little kisses and was a goofball in general. I miss her like crazy. I know some that don't understand the bird thing...we've had dogs, we love big dogs, but after losing our last one we couldn't do it again...but we're so bonded too with Petrie..we were her family and she would let our last pup know when someone was at the door before the pup knew :) I was a crazy person today trying to get my dining room better organized so I could see my stuff and have more room...since I had a bit of energy and could push through the pain and kept the music blasting to keep my mind busy...didn't eat, didn't sit, if I stopped I'd know how bad I was so kept going to a decent stopping point...in crazy pain, but very happy to have gotten some stuff done before surgery..so I looked around at it and suddenly realized I had put one of my carts in her spot near my art table...and I dropped into my chair and lost it...I felt guilty somehow and throughout the day had caught myself talking to her until I turned and was reminded....so, I finally just had to stop. I just hate it....breaks my heart....25yrs, it's all just so wrapped up in her...everything we do...shed greet us when we walked in and when we left..she'd wait till I got my tea ready in the morning and when I'd go to sit she'd go eat... I may have said this....sorry....I just thought I had some more time...🥺😭 I love animals so much, like I know you do....but it's SO hard to lose them🥺 I know it'll just take some time :) but for now...it really sucks. Gosh...sorry for such a long note 😳 I hope you have a good week!!!❤🥰

@@jadedenthusiasms sounds like your Petrie was part of the family. I can tell how much she meant to you. It's hard losing pets, many of them don't have very long life spans. But, the joy of having them is worth the pain of losing them. I miss my little Daisy, I was blessed to have such a sweet friend. She was so tame that I never closed the door on her cage. She had the roam of the house. But, one day when someone opened the door she got out and got lost, I'm sure. I hope someone found her. I love birds, but I will have to enjoy the wild ones outside, my two cats are killers. They won't allow me to have any small pets. But I feed humming birds on my porch and I enjoy watching them. They are too fast for my cats to catch! Maybe you could try feeding birds in your area to make some new friends until you are ready to another pet to fill the gap of her loss? Just a suggestion. I know it's hard to start over with a new pet sometimes. Having pets are a lot of work. I love my big dog so much. But, he is nearing the end of his life span. He is a big hairy slobbery dog, and I get so worn out cleaning up after him. Sometimes I question if I will ever get another inside dog. Although, I know we will always have a dog in our life. I hope you stay well any have a nice weekend!
