Tyler Raj Barriss is accused of making a prank-call to 911 from California, allegedly sending police to a home in Kansas where they opened fire on an unarmed Andrew Finch.
@@BenjyB15 does not matter you dont shoot a man if he flinches when he at gunpoint lol. That's littarily what the police are trained for. thus this police officer did not stand up to this job, he must be fired
Wow that is absolutely the saddest thing I ever heard that poor man was killed for absolutely nothing. I literally am dumbfounded and have no words... rest in peace u poor soul
Mail order hits. Get a burner phone and call it in.. Just sick and disgusting both from the cops and the guy that called in the swat. Horrific. This planet... Yikes
They just did it to me and thank God I'm good, they didn't come with guns drawn but I had 6 cops check my house for alleged "dead wife and hostage children". It was scary but I complied and let them do their thing, all normal, i explained them that I'm a game server operator with a discord community of 30k members so it's likely that I get targeted with this stuff. God helped me stay calm and get out of the situation flawlessly. The swatter had called me before swatting me and requested a $500 ransom, I didn't think he was being serious
bro stfu, you clearly don't know crap. if there is a person who is reported to have a lethal weapon and you see him reach down after you telling him to put his hands up, you are allowed to shoot since he could shoot you. the caller is the only one in the wrong
The man who died was my cousins best friends uncle. She lived with him because her parents died a few years ago. She was left with no family beyond this and wound up killing herself not too long after. So this hit's home to some degree.
@@xly3197 I only just saw the video when I wrote about it. His niece's name was Adelina Finch. My cousin has pictures with her and of her as well as a tattoo or two in honor of her. Why would I make up some bs story about his niece committing suicide? That's kinda fucked up lmao. Don't have to explain myself to some random skeptic on YT but either way you can believe as you want.
Let me provide EVERYONE with this little tidbit of information. This swatting was over a CoD wager match, and only one dollar was on the line. An innocent man died over a dumb video game wager match that wouldn't even get you enough to fetch yourself a Big Mac from McDonald's.
The police officers should not be charged as they were only doing their jobs. In training, they are literally told that if you suspect that the target might have a weapon you make sure they can't use it. Sadly sometimes things like this happen and the wrong person gets shot. However, if this was a real situation and you have a job to do and the person in front of you does have a weapon and you choose not to shoot then whoever in your unit gets hurt or killed is on you. Their job is literally to prevent further losses and or casualties by any means.
if they are killing innocent people then obviously their "training" tactics need to change. Its ridiculous that the police are killing so many people. Yeah some of them have weapons but a lot of them end up being unarmed. The police can't just kill a random man and walk away from it like "yeah I did my job" what was his job? Killing innocent people?
CynicalSins Again they are trained to make sure no other casualties happen. But since you wanna talk like you know something better let’s put you in their shoes shall we? There’s been a call and they’ve told you that it’s a local disturbance accounts of yelling, property damage, and possible gunfire. You get there and there are two guys in the area reported. Your partner gets out of the car. You have a obligation to keep you and him alive so you both can see your families again. One of the two men you and your partner see is a bit twitchy maybe even possibly dangerous. You tell him to put his hands up and keep them up. But instead he reaches down to his pocket. So what are you gonna do? Hope that he doesn’t pull out a gun and kill both you and your partner? I really would love to hear your response...
Seaweed Games I wouldn’t immediately shoot the guy if that’s what your asking. I would wait to see if he actually pulls a gun. In the video they had all taken cover behind their cars shielded from gun fire. Shooting is never suppose to be the first option and always the last
CynicalSins You forget that also in the video many of the officers had their heads peaking above their vehicles. They couldn’t have shot him if they were in total cover. Although I will give something to you technically the officers should have waited a bit longer since they were in cover. As for the situation answer so when are you gonna shoot him? When he raises the gun at you and your partner? When he pulls it out of his pocket and you see it’s a gun? When does the insanity of your plan end!? Look you’re supposed to listen to the instructions of the officers word for word. If you break off of what they tell you what happens is what you get. If cops could taser everyone and that would be enough I would be happy. But in reality people can actually fight through the pain of the taser. So for now guns will have to do and with guns comes the responsibility of trying to make sure where and when to pull the trigger. That’s what training and experience is for.
The cops should be charged for the majority of the case. Just because I tell a cop some random stranger killed 5 people he has the chance to potentially die from a wrong move? There has to be a more thought out process before taking a persons word about someone being a danger. However the swatter does need charges
Joseph Kony tf you mean? they thought he had a gun. He put his hands down after them clearly telling him to put them up. They used their training and are not at fault.
@@chaselastname8593 they only told him once, from distance and then shot. Also, the cop who shot made that claim, meaning that it could have been a lie.
@@justincase9650 that legit means nothing. Have you seen what cops have to deal with across this country? Not their fault. Not even close. The only person to blame here is the doorknob who made the false call.
@@stopdroolin8418 And also the police for shooting someone for not raising his hands quicklu enough after confused opening his door. What kind of society do you guys want? One where it is "right" to kill people just because someone say they have a gun? One where trigger happy police officers can shoot at first sight of the suspect? Or one where police actually SERVE AND PROTECT the public by not shooting at them?
The officer that shot is a big wimp and since he killed the guy he should go to prison for like 20yrs or something years in prison because accidental murder is like 20yrs
I don't blame the cop. The cops thought the guy had a weapon based on the call and apparently he was lowering his hands so thats why they fired. They thought he was reaching for a weapon.
Exactly, Cops Jobs are unpredictable. Anyone that reaches for anything leads them to getting shot because they could have a gun. It isn't the cops fault.
@@nostalgiaboy6240 My God, what a fucking IDIOT. oH, tHeY jUst dIDN't kNoW. Well mate, they should've known better. This is the worst case of negligence I've seen in my entire life.
20 incidents of swatting and only served time ONCE?? WTH??then wonder WHY this crap happens all over the place.. what is WRONG with people??dude needed a JOB instead of playing video games all day and calling Swats on RANDOM people all day.. and don’t even get me started on the reckless officers who just open fire at the drop of a hat
just happened four times today and in fact it happened to Jeremy at the quartering twice and once at Tim pool yesterday and to rockita LA today as well
Anyone who gets put in the same situation should do : Call 911 , say there is no problem, you're turning on all the house lights , you will be opening the door and have my family and my kds in the doorway. Tell the pigs not to do something stupid before you talk !!!
Even worse the guy who did this feels no remorse whats so ever he said these exact words “No I didn’t get him killed I only did it as a joke guys chill”
Yeah, but an unarmed man who at the time of the incident was suspected to have killed someone in a domestic dispute, then at gunpoint by police lowered his hands as if he was going for a gun…
Also on the side of the innocent guy who was killed, not that it is his fault In any way whatsoever and I can totally understand being caught off guard by the situation. But it just reinforces my thoughts that anytime you have an officer that has their guns drawn on you, move slow or don’t move at all if you can. Not that that would of even helped or in some situations the cops are looking to shoot first but anytime I’ve had them drawn on me I move slow as possible because I don’t wanna spook them. Too many officers have poor training, discipline, and are so terrified themselves that they’re very quick to shoot.. that’s why I’m all situations on either side of the gun the worst thing you can do is panic or react in a panicked uncontrolled way. Most people cannot handle extreme stress or high stress and dangerous situations and many people freeze up, zig when they shoulda zagged or like this officer shoot. So it’s always best to stay focused and calm even when your mind is racing, don’t freeze up, make a decision, but don’t just act on impulse. Obviously there are situations where you do need to react fast and act on impulse though
how come cops aren't really scared when they go through a drive-through? You know they could have weapons and you know this day and age and all that other stuff a spot-on about
When he lowered his hands, a terrorist _(who feared he had a gun)_ opened fire. The amount of steps one must go through to open fire in a theater of war is astounding. Police can do it at the drop of a hat-or an acorn....
This is wrong; they should not be allowed to use this tactic. Even if an emergency situation it should have been verified by simply calling back the same number to see if it is in use or not a prank, if someone answered you now have your answer! There were choices other then forced unconstitutional entry to be sure... Instead they use this Militarized tactics and justify it even over the rights of Innocent Individuals without a shred of Proof that what is really going on is correct. What hackers say you should do to teach the system is; ANONYMOUS; Find where the Officers live and do the same 911 call on each of them saying you seen a man with a gun in their window, over and over with fake phone call apps and have them call on each other using another Officers personal number to call 911 on them... Maybe then they'll understand why this is unacceptable and absolutely unfair.
@Asa So fucking what? Should you get shot just because I told a cop that you are dangerous? I guess at least there would be one imbecile less in this world. What a prick.
First. I "thought" he might have a weapon is no justification to shoot someone. You need to SEE a weapon. Why is it I had more strick rules of engagement in Iraq than cops do in the states???
I wish the police were trained on logic. Why would someone walk out to his porch in front of a swat team without already having a gun in his hand? Also, your gun is already on him, trigger ready. How fast do you think this dude can draw and shoot a pistol? Why not shoot a non-fatal part of his body in the least? Raj and the cop both deserve jail time, Raj more than the cop, but still both. IMO Raj deserves life and cop deserves at least 5 years.
not so fun fact It takes two and a half years to become a police officer in Sweden, including six months of paid workplace practice. in America you need 21 weeks to train before going on patrol search up most other countries and I'm sure their cops training will take longer than the US
@@zxctix6483 They base their actions off the call. From what they knew he had a gun and when he was told specifically not to put his hands down, what did he do? He put his hands down. Cops do everything necessary to prevent being shot because of their training. You've literally got it backwards. These guys were and are good cops that know what they're doing. Ofcourse there are bad cops out there but these dudes did no wrong. If you've seen the situations these guys could possibly land in on any given day, you'd understand that.
Let me guess the police man got forced to pay 10 dollars and got to jail for a week and they will just let him back on the oh so useful swat teams

them cops are cowards they love to shot unarmed people, don't beleave the lies of fake news this police killing us is all part of agenda 21 the UN plan for depoplation of the earth the 1% is useing police hit squads to kill any they can.
I mean the officer is also very unskilled.. If lowering the hands of the victim made him scared that he has a weapon, then that officer was pretty much unskilled/inexperienced at judging the situation or any similar dangerous situation for that matter. Key observation is important and timing also needs to be learned.
ARREST THE SWAT OFFICERS ARREST THE SWAT OFFICERS ARREST THE SWAT OFFICERS FOR BRUTALLY MURDERING AN INNOCENT MAN THE SWAT OFFICER SHOULD GO TO PRISON FOR LIFE
BossmanFromEnds I don’t care about the officer, if he shot someone accidentally it is still murder and he should be heavily punished so he knows it isn’t accept
The cop murdered a man....wouldn't have even mattered if it was the caller....yeah its completely brainless to think swatting is funny but damn dude....
Yeah comments let's blame cops who showed up at what they thought was an active shooter situation. Had a shot and took it. Next time there is an active shooter in your town do want them trigger shy, in case it was a prank? While a few dozen die. Active shooter is high intensity and this is no cops fault, in his head thats what this is, he doesn't get to know it was a prank or watch all the build up, he just shows up at what they think is a murder spree.
The homeowner opened the front door and was surprised to see an officer in front of him so he screamed, the officer then proceeded to shoot him dead without a second thought. So much for that “shot” you were talking about
It is his fuckin fault you boot licker.. theyre supposed to oh idk fuckin investigate? Even if it’s not a prank and the suspect deserves to die its not their job to fuckin kill him they’re supposed to make an arrest
why would a murderer open up his front door and come out when the cops told him to? Also, I think what happned in texas did not make this comment age very well. But I guess the dude in the SUV in Wisconsin was just an accident. Not a mass killing. Or a terrorist. Or a hate crime against white people.
So a few "inaccurate mistakes" that results in hundreds dead a year is legally justifiable? I'd be nice if I wasn't assumed to be smoked under the assumption that I'm the active shooter
Ok how was it that the officer is also held responsible! we're all humans we have fears, he got irrational because of a bad info that he has a weapon. It was a 50/50 chance that he might or might not, they had no idea.
So all those cops being way far away with bullet proof vest and yet one is so wimpy and trigger happy that they get to gamble with someones life even though there is literally no gun in sight yet alone pointing in the direction of the cops? Fuckers like that are itching to kill someone while using their job as an excuse. That cop deserves to be locked up for a damn good while.
Vital Mendoza dude your setting a wrong precedent. Let say they will check first all call and waste another hour or 2. Then the purpose of an emergency call is lost. Best way is always never escalate the situation.
@@jacksbob8746 dude, that guy shot to death could have been you. Do you really want them to shoot you just so they don't waste another hour or 2? Or would you rather have them check first?
