God, there is nothing more surreal than singing Sweet Caroline at a Red Sox game! We flew out to Fenway this summer and it has to be the most uplifting experience :) Love boston :)
I'm a Braves fan, but this is legendary. I was lucky enough to experience this in person. Also, I've gotten to witness "Callin' Baton Rouge" in LSU, "Stand Up and Get Crunk" at Saints games, and the Tomahawk at Braves games. A lot of chill bumps from those.
Life long Atlanta Braves fan here. I was fortunate enough to actually see a Red Sox vs Yankees game at Fenway.. The thing that I left with that stuck with me the most was the singing of Sweet Caroline. Hate those organizations but I can't say a word about their fan base. Great baseball fans in Boston.
Not only are the Red Sox in the World Series but what makes it even better is the fact that Jeter and Gayrod are giving each other reacharounds!!! Go Sox stomp some Rockies ASS!!
I don't care what team it is or my feelings for a team, but when a bunch of fans start chanting the same thing, it gives me goosebumps. Example, I hate KU with a passion, but damn when they do the "Rock Chalk" chant, I can't help but get goose bumps
@bluejacketsman86 you dont go to a baseball game for a comfortable time, you go for the EXPERIENCE, one of the most memorable times of my life was when i first came to this park...
The part between 35s and 45s of this video about how 'times have never been so good' - its TRUE! Can you believe it? A 2nd WS triumph in 4 years. How can life get any better?
@baseballisawsome100 im from england, and we have football, or soccer as you yanks say it, and we have rugby league and we are realy passionate fans here in england, but watching this just blows my mind, you dont realise how big baseball actually is to you lot amazing
NY suck! I'm from brazil but i saw the movie and... Sweet Caroline... DADADA... GOOD times to never seen so good.. so good! so good! Hey, RedSox fans, search in youtube: Geral do Gremio, its the fans of my team here in Brazil.
agreed yo I use to be a yankees fan last June then I went to a Red Sox game just cause I'm not gonna turn down a MLB baseball game. And sure enough I loved the atmosphere compared to yankee stadium which is dirty as hell whil at fenway park fans are nice and funny as hell and it's cleaner. I especially love the songs there. So I ended up leaving the park with a Red Sox hat on!
ive been a red sox fan forever..literally. I know so much about the sox...but the one thing i still dont understand is why we sing this song? its awsome but i just want to know why we do
no according to NPR the Red Sox were the first American pro sports team to play Sweet Caroline. and btw both the sox and the rangers ripped off this british soccer team.
We can't sing...but we sure can make a good fuckin Chowdah...And boy can we play ball! Chowder Surfer - bringing free NE Clam chowder to Sox fans at Yankee Stadium! Its an ugly job but someones got to do it!
