I’m a big fan of the Liberty fabrics, the quilting cotton of course. I’m currently working on a quilt using a majority of Liberty. I would love to make a summer dress out of their premium fabric. Thanks for sharing all your works in progress. 👍❤️😊

I visited Liberty's on a day trip in 2014. I wanted to see inside after watching the TV series. I have 2 photo's of the exterior but non from inside as I wasn't sure if it was allowed at the time haha. What a beautiful building and each floor had a different theme. The gorgeous fabrics were too expensive for me to buy but I've since been gifted some small pieces. The first shop opened in 1875 and the shop we know today opened in 1924, using timber from battle ships in it's construction.

What great fun, getting those grab bags of fabulous Liberty prints. I've been seeing some Liberty fabrics in the well known big box fabric store. Kind of worries me.

I love Liberty of London fabrics. Some of the Joann’s stores are caring their fabrics . I had to go to Atlanta Ga to buy some . Not all Joann’s carry the fabrics.

I love Liberty of London Tana Lawns. I’ve been to the flagship store in London. It was fun. If you look hard, some Joanne’s carry the fabrics yardage. They won’t let you use coupons on it. I don’t think they are being reordered. I suspect it was something they grabbed from distributors when there were supply chain issues. But I heard a rumor that FQS will be carrying the Tana Lawns from Liberty. ❤❤❤

I visited Liberty’s of London in 1988 or 1989. The building was beautiful but I couldn’t afford any fabric back then but was happy to just see! I made all my sashings plus half the borders. This has been the easiest quilt along for keeping up. Thank you Pat!

Ignore if I've told you this story. When I was very young (probably around 5th grade or younger) a boy named Neil Burger had a crush on me. On Valentine's Day he showed up at our door with a really fancy box of chocolates. I was so horrified that I took the box and shut the door in his face. My mother was so upset with me that she made me call him and thank him for the gift. I want you to now that at the age of seventy-one I still have that heart box with the fancy pink bow and pink tulle ruffles. I have it sitting on top of the bookcase where I keep my quilt books. Poor Neil Burger. hahaha I wonder what ever happened to him?

I did buy some fabrshic when I was in London. I recently went to the "Vault" to take them out because I want to make a scarf and wear these jewels. Thank you Pat for your wonderful daily visits.
