Robert Johnson's classic. I did rewrite the breaks. Played on a Tacoma Papoose, tuned a 4th higher than a guitar. Ukuleles are tuned the same way. They stopped making Tacoma guitars a few years ago. It was a couple of years after they were bought by Fender. I always thought they made a really good guitar and the Papoose is pretty cool. Recorded with a Canon 60D SLR.

Be great to find someone familiar with this guitar so I could learn how to play it. I borrowed one from someone & think I've got it tuned, but doing the chords is a little confusing since it's not standard guitar tuning.

Think of it like a regular guitar capo’ed on the 5th fret. All the chords will be a 4th higher. For example, a D chord is actually a G. An E chord is actually an A. All the fingering is the same, but everything is a 4th higher. Let me know if I can be of any other help. Good luck and enjoy!

Nice vid. Love the sound of that small guitar. Is it steel string or nylon? I usually am not into the sounds of Ukes or Guitaleles but this has a nice sound. When people try to play blues on them, the nylon string bland high pitch toy like sounding strings just do'n't do it for me. This guitar, on the there hand, has that nice sound usually get from steel strings. I am impressed if those strings are nylon. BTW, how does that thing sound with some good ole slide playing?

Thank you, ZSW! It's called a Tacoma Papoose. They stopped making Tacoma Guitars a few years ago. It uses steel strings which is why the sound is so crisp. It really sounds great with a slide. Thanks again!

Hi Steve sounds great I play a guitalele love it. Can you tell me do you have nylon or steel strings. And I asume you are tuned as A not E ist that correct. Love it.

+brucekea Thank you! The instrument is a Tacoma Papoose. It uses steel strings (light gauge 10's) and is tuned to an A.
