So fascinating how the the plant reaches out and grows to wrap around itself and support itself. Feels like there's a message in that. Creation is so beautiful 🙏🏾💚✨
I threw a couple of sweet potatoes in one of my planters a few years ago and it grew and grew and grew and I cut it all the way back and I thought it was gone. It just keeps coming back every year. They’re absolutely beautiful and so easy to grow just stick a couple in a pot and you’ll see him grow.
@@rebela_craftsyou can even do very little cuttings, each cutting needs one leaf. Put them for 1-2 week in water to let them grow some roots. Then put it in soil they grow crazy and seem be not easy to kill.
😅 I love growing sweet potatoes this way!! I love the vines!! I'll start some indoors and take them out to the garden and lay the vines flat and stretched out!! Beautiful plant and yummy, too!! Baked 🍠 with honey and butter is everything!!😂❤
@@iresineherb7 I'm fashionably late to this response, but, the non-organics tend to be sprayed with certain chemicals that increase the shelf-life and prevent natural propagation. For example, non-organic potatoes are soaked in an anti-rooting formula which prevents it from growing eyes, as this would reduce the quality of the potato and ruin the flavor over time. Unfortunately, this means it's future as a new plant is inhibited.
I grew these once and now any bit of dirt that touched the shovels when I Trolled up all of the area, pulling out the potatoes, any other place in the yard those shovels touched there's been potatoes sprouting up and growing.
I hate to laugh at this as I have had it happen with other stuff in the yard but it is funny as shit to just have random taters popping all over the yard lol
@@WookieWoman I've grown that too, sweet mint, chocolate mint, and none of them have done what the sweet potatoes do. For instance i have planter beds that haven't had sweet potatoes all season that have vines growing out now. Another area they were growing they got eaten to the ground and three months later they are growing beyond the area I was ok with them continuing to grow.
Hi. Can anyone please confirm if the methods in these videos work. I'd like to plant some of my own food & no one in the house eats some of the fruit & veg I like. I'd like to save some money & grow them myself
Love the fact that on Timelapse we can appreciate the plant acting Just like a living being … evolution has made those branches oscillate till they stick . So beautiful
Amazing Allahumma shali wa salim wa barikh ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa'ala ali Sayyidina Muhammadin fil awwalin wal akhirin wa fil mala'il a'la ila Yaumiddin
I put one in a crystal geyser gallon bottle, after about 3 weeks it finally sprouted a root........from the bottom of the potatoe so I was forced to plant it in soil....
Most of the time the nutrient stores in the potato and the nutrients in the water are enough to get it started, but especially when it gets this big you'll need to transplant it to soil or use a supplement.
Now just cut those off put them in some water wait for them to tooth that many them in a large at least 10 gallon pot or growing a bag with some good potting pix and bam u can grow your own sweet potatoes
That’s not a sweet potato growing. That’s a bunch of possible sweet potatoes NOT growing. Every slip (green sprout) will grow its own roots which will grow a new potato. That is a single potato and potential potatoes wasted.
Another plant(exept weeds): u have to store us in a right temperature and at right humidity or else we will rot and die in no time Potato and weeds: WHERE THE F****** SOILS?!?!?!
