I was able to get it for free at my school, and I put cold water around 10pm and when I woke up the next day around 9am it was the same temp and very cold, So I'd say they're worth it
This is how I do my water bottle for ice. I fill 1/4th full tilt it slightly in freezer without lid. Grab and finish the fill add lid good to go. Not worth full price. You can find the less appealing colors half price. Thanks for sharing . Great info
Nice review. I wish you'd talked about the care/washing. I really love the Travelers because of how they look (the shape) and the wider mouth. The Traveler actually looks very sexy as you're holding it! Thanks for doing the temperature testing.
It’s not just the temperature and design. You missed one key feature: leaking. I was turned off by the price as well, and went through 3 different cheap bottles that flooded my purse and my backpack during my travels. I received the S’well bottle as a birthday gift year ago, and so far I’m declaring it 100% dependable. You can just throw it in a bag in any direction and everything stays dry. I actually would love a bigger one, and I was told you can grab a good deal when they go on sale.
i got one free from work that was custom designed. the design scratched off easily but i did a test between my yeti and it held ice way longer than my yeti
3:14 You screwed up your Fahrenheit conversion. An 8 degree C difference is not a 46 degree F difference. It was 147F for the S'well and 133F for the generic, which is a 14 degree F difference.
I have the swell coffee mug that is looking stained. Anyways I use it for hot coffee in the morning then switch to water in the afternoon. Now I seem to have a metalic taste in my mouth alot of the time and am thinking its the cup wearing out.
Umm, at 3:10, if you are talking about the temperature *difference* of 3 degrees Celsius, that would be 5.4 deg F, not 37 F. i.e. Every 1 degree Celsius is equal to 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit.
