David Walsh still gets treated with respect even though he was bashing Lance without evidence. He finally got it right, but we should not forget Walsh is an unethical Journalist. He even claimed Chris Horner’s Vuelta win was tainted without any evidence. That was 8 years ago and Walsh has still not owned up to his slanderous comments and reporting. He is not a journalist to be emulated.
He had plenty of evidence.... you just want to deny it... just like you did at the time... if you think Horner won clean you are too stupid to converse with...
David Walsh did not initially accuse Lance Armstrong of cheating, only that we should be skeptical and not applaud his 1999 TDF win. It wasn't personal against him, but rather was based on the circus and fiasco from the previous year. You probably aren't even aware of the '98 TDF drama. It wasn't until two insiders who intimately worked with Lance came forward that he accused him of cheating, which all he was doing was reporting what those individuals said. And to be sure, if authorities had properly done their job, there would have been no need for David Walsh to pursue the story. Lance Armstrong failed at least two drug tests, one in 1999 and one in 2001, that were covered up. But the fact is that initially David Walsh was skeptical and made that known, but it wasn't until insiders came forward with detailed knowledge of Lance's use of PEDs that Walsh accused him of that. You clearly are not familiar with all the facts and how events unfolded.
