Im watching this in 2020, i just watched the whole series and loved it. I live in the small island of Gozo (sister island of mainland Malta) Feeling Proud to be Maltese🇲🇹🔛🔝

That flag does not mean that malta is the best country in the world. It's the maltese maretime flag. And the image on the back is not gozo but a fishing village called Marsaxlokk in the south. Great Van. Not of a very good taste but still great. :)
