@@mtnman1 Students who are learning rarely flare the wingsuit. We’re focused on safe exit, navigation, and deploying without going unstable. Flaring comes with time and practice. Also Student level wingsuits are not as fast/intense as the larger, more advanced ones you usually see on RU-vid.
But I should have arched a little bit and looked up to the horizon, and bent my knees. This would have slowed me down at least a little. Not a full flare but that would have been better
@@johnnelson4043 great video though and thanks for the reply. Its good to see progress in others and to watch growth in the sport of skydiving. Wingsuit is definitely an avenue id like to get to in time, but certainly appreciate you for sharing your videos and learning.
