Hahaha, I love the Best Song Ever MV. It's so funny. I kept watching you for when you were going to realise Zayn was the girl. *lol* Some never see it until the very end of course. It's always so funny. This MV is from 2013 so Zayn would have been 20. Just saying. ;) The skit is all about showing how the 1D boys were not your regular boyband. They said no to choreographed dance moves and they were not going to dress the part either. And the MV was also used as promo for their documentary movie This is us, so there's clips from that. I love your discussion. It's true boybands, but especially manufactured boybands, which 1D was they have in general a short life span. So like, everyone knows that. Or should know that. They were never meant to always stay together. The question always was how long can we keep them together? Even at X Factor when they had just been put together as a band they said they couldn't NOT jump at this chance and see where it might take them and that they could always go solo later. I feel it started falling apart in 2014 even if that's the year I became a fan. It's what I noticed while catching up on their history together. There's a huge difference from 2013 to 2014. It wasn't like most bands where it seems members start to hate each other, but because they simply started wanting different things. I felt there was a divide. They had grown up together but from a very green beginning where their focus was always the group. But once they started to get their own writing credits and just learning so much, getting more experienced, they also started to develop their own tastes and their individual differences that was always there became more obvious. They were still jamming it together of course. Still having fun. But they went from friends to being more co-workers. Their busy schedule made an impact. You can't go from a normal lad in school to suddenly became world famous within a year and sprouting out an album a year while also touring for 9 months of the year and not have it impact you. Imagine the stress of knowing you have a sold out tour the next year and you haven't even started writing the album for that tour? They were overworked and tired. Most of them didn't realize it at the time but they were all dealing with it in different ways. Zayn was the only one that left because he knew he couldn't do it any more. The others were determined to continue and finish the tour and you could really see them bond together with a renewed strength. But they decided it was time for a break after making that 5th and last album. While not everyone wanted the break at that time it was a mutual decision. And it was the right decision. They have all pretty much stated that once they had been able to distance themselves from it. First album came out Nov. 2011. Last performance was in December 2015. They had released 5 albums and done 4 world tours between Nov. 2011 - Dec. 2015. It is a lot in such a short period of time.

The beauty of Harry is, you don't actually know. When he was younger, one of the interviewers asked him if he's bisexual, because a lot of people he hung out with were openly gay, and he said "I'm pretty shure I'm not". Later on, regarding sexuality questions he said he never felt the need to explain it about himself, not sure if he ever particularly said "I'm unlabelled". He's only been going out with women, even though some"fans" don't believe it. This fandom is full of these shipping theories, "closetted boyband couple" cliches etc. I'd say, whoever he is, he's definitely not closetted xD He's a huge LGBTQ+ ally though, it's one thing that everyone agrees on. And he's recently been shortlisted for British LGBT+ Awards in Music Category. His persona and his songs are the definition of "open for interpretation". His music so universal and appealing to all genders and ages so I'd say it doesn't matter who he is and I respect him too much to assume.

"This is Us" at then end of BSE that Zayn spray painted, it was a nod to their movie that was in the theaters "This is Us" (also avail on DVD) They did 5 albums in 5 years, and were in arenas then world wide stadium tours at the same time. They were over worked to put it lightly. Zayn left in the middle of tour but the boys continued on and then put out another album. They will get together again eventually (minus Zayn) and rule the world again. But for right now we're all enjoying their solo work.

Mm. I absolutley understand you coming into the band with no knowledge and new to Harry and that you'd want to know. However. The fandom is divided on the Larry topic and the boys sexuality. You should avoid it to keep your sanity. I'm against shipping them because it is disrespecting Harry's and Louis's spoken words. And I feel very strongly about peoples right to label themselves, whatever that might be, so that's why I sometimes loose my cool about fans in this fandom. Mostly it is Harry and Louis that is constantly called/believed to be gay by fans. (Tho all boys gets shipped but never to the degree Larry was/is, Zarry has been on the rise though). Harry very clearly doesn't want to label himself so no one truly knows how he identify himself. Whatever Harry's sexuality is, he's only publicly dated women. He is supporting the LGBTQ+ community. And that's all we know for sure. Louis has said he is straight and is in a long term relationship. Fans can speculate all they want but ignoring what they've said is not ok IMO. Fans are shitting on their girlfriends because they believe they are beards. Fans are upset over Harry being sexualized as a womanizer from a young age but see no problems with sexualize Harry and Louis together from that same age... I see no difference at all, in fact I view the fans as worse because they should know better. But fans have no boundaries and they went way over the line years ago and feel they have every right to narrate their lives after their beliefs with no care how that may affect them or their loved ones.

It was really fun watching both of you react together! In interviews back with oneday, interviewers would be very intrusive. Once they asked what are they looking for in someone to date and Louis said female. And Harry next to him was kind of laughing and Liam said what?
