Three sessions in a day is a regular thing for the world's top triathletes. We joined Vincent, Jelle, Aaron and Vasco as they train in Girona for the upcoming ITU season. Starting the day with a tough Vo2 swim set, the first of the year, then out to turn the pedals before getting into a punchy run session in the evening.
The workouts:
Swim - 24 build 100s, in 4 sets
Bike - 2hrs ride
Run - Strides, 8x1min hills, strides

Question for the triathletes: do they intrafuel during all their workouts to avoid getting into negative energy balance with so many sessions?

Cycling should not be a sport :/ the amount of up/down motion while they run and the huge inefficiency is surprising to me .. they don't know how to glide at all... I see why there is such a wide range of results in tri..

Im sorry that I quit my Premium membership but I'm so much NOT INTERESTED in cycling or swimming (love doing both sports but don't give a sh** about anyones training and I'm annoyed by the hype) I know its sad that you lost one of your fastest subscribers 😉 but thats life 🤷‍♂️
