Wicked! Never thought of using mode 1 for length pacing - like mode 2 - I’m going to try that! The fact that mode 2 only allows you to do 1 second variables means that over 100m you can only set it to 4 second differences - less than ideal! Nice one for that top tip! Hopefully mode 1 allows you to go up to 25s so I can use it for the slower/medium paces. Another ace video dude!!

Mode 1 got me from swimming a 1500 17:15 - 20ish consistently to 16:58 - 17:05ish consistently ... marginal gains

@@mlegrand 16:58 SCM and 17:32 LCM in 2017 (top 3 in the world rankings for M40-44 that year). The slowest since 2017 has been 17:07 on less than normal taper. I went 4:51.1 in the 400 IM just before lockdown.
