Are you a new swimmer or not too confident in the water? Breaststroke is a fantastic first stroke to learn and is easy on the joints if you have any injuries (especially shoulder or back injuries). It is also great for new swimmers or swimmers that don't yet like to put their face in the water - this stroke can help you get used to floating and moving under your own steam, ready to practice with your face in the water.
In this video, Adam covers the basics of breaststroke arms, some common problems, and how to add power to the stroke. This is part 2 of 3 in our breaststroke series - check out our swimming basics playlist for the legs and full-stroke videos.
