What are some of the rules? I have always wanted to visit Switzerland. I will be there one day soon.

It was super nice, and thank youuu :D It's true, I'll just point out that Lugano is in the Italian speaking part of switzerland so they actually speak Italian and are... basically very similar to Italians :)

I keep forgetting that they’re in the Schengen because they’re not in the EU and apparently do do random checks for customs/imports but I guess you’re right

@@misstiataylor_ they are kinda right, but if you like the landscape and would like to stay close to Milan, I suggest you look into some comuni of the province of Varese (I don't know about Como but I guess that works too), especially the ones that face Lago di Lugano (the whole province has 7 lakes in total). They are in Italy so they cost so much less and are well connected to Switzerland and Milano. Even just for visiting they are very cute :) I spend many afternoons in Porto Ceresio, for example (which has a direct train to Milan)

there is not real switzerland as far as i now, there are 3 parts merged artificialiiy into 1 :) thats why it is a confederation and not a "nation" in the common sense but rather a community
