Heck yes to every one of these! Awesome list 💪 Oh, and Thanks again for putting me onto Harvestella. I would have completely missed out on this one if it weren't for you. ✌️
The fact we haven't gotten any new Donkey Kong games on Switch is criminal! On top of a new DK country, I'd love to see a modern take on DK 64 (it'll never happen but a girl can dream lol)
Awesome list and really cool entries. I'd love to see a new F-Zero Game on the Switch 2, or even a remake of F-Zero GX. A new 2D Metroid would also be a dream come true, since I absolutely love Metroidvanias.
Amazing list! I'm really hoping Nintendo takes the Bowser's Fury formula and turns it into the next open world Mario game! Could you imagine traversing from the grassy plans to the sandy dunes seamlessly? I've got my fingers crossed!
I second this 🔥👆 Given we had obviously BOTW/TOTK for Zelda as Open World, and even Mario’s Rival Sonic got one with Sonic Frontiers So I kinda see the formula for Bowser’s Fury being translated into a full game for 3D, which would be dope!
I agree with all of your list. Well I still need to play Harvestella. My list would be Luigi’s Mansion 4, Kirby Forgotten Realm 2, Toad Tracker 2, Starfox Adventure 2, Mario Rabbids 3, and a long shot like Kid Icarus.
Great picks! Link's Awakening remake is my favorite Switch Zelda game also. It would be amazing if we got another game in a similar style. I also hope for a Captain Toad Treasure Tracker sequel 🤞
Some really amazing choices here! For me, some fun ideas would be: • Ocarina of Time Remake • Pikachu puzzle platformer (Like Stray, but being separated from Ash and needing to make his way back.) • Yoshi & Luigi: Either a 2.5d or 3D platformer where the green team has to save Mario.
Glad I’m not the only one that isn’t super into Tears of the Kingdom. I’m hoping for a classic style Zelda next… dungeon focused with unique items that help solve each dungeon’s puzzles.
Awesome sweater! I would be super happy with anything from Vanillaware at this point (specifically a follow up to Unicorn Overlord). Otherwise I'm looking forward to another Fire Emblem game, Atlus RPGs (i.e. Persona 6, Metaphor, Persona 3 reload, etc), and RPGs from Square Enix as well. Totally agree with Mario Odyssey 2 on Switch 2. My kids loved the first game and I could see them crushing tons of hours on a follow up.
100% Yes to a lot of these! I want a new DKC. I want a new top down Zelda!! Triangle Strategy had me hooked in a was I wasn't expecting so I am dying for more of that!! And yeah more 3D Mario please. Great video!
The Link's Awakening remake art style would be PERFECT for Minish Cap. But yeah, I'm in the same boat where top down Zelda is where my heart is and I would like another of that style. Bowser's Fury might be cool if Nintendo gave it the Astro Bot treatment. Getting away from first party, with Microsoft wanting more games multi-platform, I'd like to see Gears of War on the next system.
I'd like for some of the 3/DS Zelda games to make the jump across. I haven't played 'A Link Between Worlds', 'The Phantom Hourglass' _or_ 'Spirit Tracks'. Also, there's the tiniest rumour of a 'F-Zero GX' port coming to Switch. It would make the ideal springboard for a new game on its successor. This Nintendo Direct needs to get a move on so we make better guesses! 😤😄
I totally take for granted that Zelda and Mario will continue to be the tentpole single player games-so what I want most are games that are not always guaranteed to show up. I hope Metroid continues its renaissance, I really need a new Donkey Kong either 2D or 3D, and I hope that we finally get a great Star Fox
I'd love more than one 2D Metroid. Maybe port the Metroid 2 remake, remake another old one, and then make a new one. Won't happen but would be dope lol Thanks for the vid!
Hey Paige, thanks for the video! Well of course I am like you I want a new 2d Zelda game! a Link to the Past is my favorite! beside that, if I think about it, a Dragon quest Builder 3 could be interesting!
Rise of the third power needs a sequel. One of the best JRPGs that's come out in the past decade and it teases a much bigger world that we don't get to see.
@@femtrooper they made Ara Fel first which is ALSO an amazing game. Can't recommend both enough. I bought them digitally and loved them so much that when Limited run did a physical edition I double dipped and got them physically
I love your shirt! Where did you get it? First time playing paper Mario TTYD on the switch and I really love it! I’d love to see a sequel inspired by those mechanics.
Love this list 😊 I would love a follow-up to kirby forgotten lands (obviously 😂), more strategy rpg's, Star Fox, I never owned a Wii U, so my last Star Fox was the one on GameCube 😅 but I'm also so ready for a new mario kart. It's become my goto party game when I have friends over and don't want/have time for mario party 😉
Metorid Prime 4, A Yoshi's island in the style of the MK8 Deluxe track, A full game in the style of Marion Bowser's Fury. A new Zelda, but the 2 oracles games in the style of links awakening remake and windwaker and Twilight princess HD to tide us over while a brand new Zelda is being made. Octopath 3, DK country
We really need a DK64 remake, i think many people talk shit about DK64 cause they go for 100% completion, but if you're just playing the game it's really good fun. BRING BACK THE DK RAP
I miss F-zero and Starwing (or I guess starfox in murrica). A nice Zelda remake in the style of link's awakening of oracle of seasons and oracle of ages seems nice :P
Every Nintendo direct I wish for a new Donkey Kong game and remake/port of Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Also want Yo-Kai Watch 4 western release
Ones I would love seeing Is a sequel to Live A Live tho falls into the Triangle Strategy, Super Mario RPG, Harvestella kind, if we can get a sequel. Realistically I know out of the Team Asano HD-2D games it sold the less, selling over 500k opposed to Octopath and Triangle Strategy hitting the Millions. But if that happens, that would be great. - new 3D Mario on the style of Bowser’s Fury for sure. - Obviously we’re getting a new game from Monolith Soft, most likely a new IP, which I’m down for. Tho I’d love to get a Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, while obviously waiting for the next brand new Xenoblade game or hell a new Xeno game in general - Fire Emblem 4 Genealogy of the Holy War Remake, tho it’s more inevitable (albeit based on the track records of what Fire Emblem Game to remake and also the credible rumour of upcoming Fire Emblem games that came true). Would be great what made it a classic, especially with Sigurd and the rather Mature Story as well being the Introduction to the famous Weapon Triangle staple
I would love them to make another Mother/Earthbound sequel. I loved that game a lot. It would be perfect for the switch. Heck I'd settle for mother 3 to FINALLY be ported for the switch 2 lol
@femtrooper yea me neither but nintendo can be weird sometimes so maybe one day they will realize people want a new title in the series and do it but probably not lol but one can dream
I would love to see a new Zelda game in the Winddwaker world, I love the whimsicalness of that game, I know we got two small sequels for the DS but they weren't the best, also with Mario having his own RPG, would be great to get an official Zelda RPG game, the current Zelda games may looks like an RPG but ultimately it isn't.
Switch 2 games that I want to see are Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 3 Reload, Visions of Mana, Tales of Arise, a new Xeno game, and Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027 (Pawapuro 2026-2027. Power Pros is a Japanese baseball series by Konami) (its about time Konami releases a new iteration on more powerful and modern hardware, though I have a feeling the next entry will be cross-gen given the large install base of the switch and its domination in Japan. Hopefully that will not be the case).
@@femtrooper Maybe. Also, I recommend you check out this years (and next) entry of Power Pros (Pawapuro) called Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025. While its only in Japanese, I recommend it for its baseball gameplay, which does not require knowing any Japanese to play and it easy to use and do, but hard to master and its fun and addictive and very unique from MLB: The Show. Plus, there isn't any other baseball game like it on the market these days (aside from MLB: The Show of course). It is scheduled to launch on July 18th for Switch and PS4 (you can pick either one). I am definitely excited for it. Also, you you plan on picking up the Tsukihime remake as well? You can get the Asian version for cheaper than the American version via PlayAsia.
I completely agree about Zelda and Triangle Strategy. The Zelda game I had most fun with was Minish Cap. While I had some fun with BOTW, it was mostly due exploring and not as Zelda game. As for Triangle Strategy- 10/10 game. In a sequel they don't even do it at the same world. It could be even modern warfare or something crazy. The whole premise of The game was "political strategy game where your desicions matter" like in a visual novel. If they can keep the same level of writing I don't mind what kind of setting it will be.
@@femtrooper it felt also really good in the ending, where the game splita into three, and each one of them you lose a character due to them disagreeing with your desicion. Each one of those characters have great personallity, and are great in battles. So you really feel your desicion consequenses.
Sadly I can't say the same! Apart from super smash Bros, Mario kart and Zelda games, I've never been able to be interested in any first party Nintendo games. That might be due to my preference for RPG's which Nintendo themselves don't really make much of!
Yea that’s the question I wanted to know🤔 where is my new donkey Kong game😩 seriously And I’d love to see a new Harvestella game as I loved the first game 💕 Donkey Kong was my preferred over Mario to be honest, I know DK64 was not to popular however I really liked it❤
@@femtrooper chuckles I’ll take almost anything DK related🤔 that sorry excuse of a port called Mario VS donkey Kong was unacceptable ☠️ Like seriously I’d love a physical copy of the older DK games💕💕 or how bought a little gem called Diddy kong racing🔥 Zelda and Mario were always more popular unfortunately 😓
I didn’t like how Odyssey was a collectathon, way too many moons to the point I didn’t care to 100%. I want another 3D game more like Sunshine or Galaxy
Harvestella 2 is probably never happening / current restructuring from Square cancelled those small projects. I want a new Triangle Strategy but with real diverging stories and consequences based on your actions. There was no real divergence in Triangle Strategy I. We do need a new donkey Kong.
I'm not a big fan of Nintendo but there are some games I would like: New 3D Metroid or Prime 4 or just something 3D Metroid related Sequel to Dread Donkey Kong Country game Proper new F Zero(this will probably never happen) or you could have GX remaster more accesssible to newbies Kirby and the Forgotten Land sequel Mario Wonder Sequel that improves upon that game New 3D Mario and Bowser's Fury getting it's own game Splatoon game having a campaign like 3 but more refined and better structure A Star Fox game like Ratchet and Clank
Chances of a new Harvestella are low. Square reported it sold poorly. Then later they said they are going to focus more on their high budget IP and quit making low budget games.
I'm assuming it will be backwards compatible... but I'm hoping all the games don't require updates, basically killing the old switch games lol. But I'm hoping for a pokemon snap 2, I know we'll get new Fire Emblem (I'm hoping for a Remake of a NES one), and I pray for a new Danganronpa
I really hope they don't use the Links Awakening art style for any Zelda games in the future. Not a fan of that style. Give me the HD 2D remaster, it would look perfect with pixel 2d Zelda games
Wasa pain in the D to tip you forgot password etc...any ways got a simpler way to give you mony?..lemme know but i think the tip thing should work now. Sorry for off topic comment.. ps love yer shiz im not a super weirdo..none of that proved my case.
Toys for Bob teased a new Spyro when they bought themselves from Microsoft. Their independent, but still going to make Microsoft IP. Still trying to figure that one out.
