I just purchased a new M7060 and will be needing this kit for a low flow cutter. I am considering the Lane Shark, because of the multiple functions. However, it doesn’t seem heavy duty enough for my use. I have owned a low flow Blue Diamond cutter and wish someone would use that as a platform for something like the Lane Shark. A 48” to 60” cutter should be doable for larger tractors with 60+ hp and 16-25 gpm. I know y’all can’t do it all, but I’d consider investing in product development 😁
@@LaneSharkUSA Seriously? a quick coupler is like 20 bucks. Thats whats wrong with manufactures these days on everything you buy. Charge a little more for it and make it a good product, not save 20 buck and make it unusable. then the end user has to go spend more money to modify it. Seriously everything you buy these days is like that and often times you don't even know there's another option cause nobody tells you. sorry for the rant but I get tired of manufactures doing that.
chase5726 I'm sorry that you feel that way, but for every 1 of you there are 10 that will never remove their loader and don't care to pay extra money for something they will never need. We try to deliver the best value to the majority of our customers. This would be the same as saying Ford should only build their trucks with the Limited package instead of trying to cater to the majority by having an entry level package.
@@LaneSharkUSA It makes sense on some things like a truck package cause there's 20k difference in price. I'm talking about small things like a 20 dollar quick coupler, thats only like 2 cheesburgers. 20 dollars on an install kit for a 4k cutter is nothing. Be kinda like a car manufacture not including a hood rod or hood struts, cause most people don't open the hood and wouldn't wanna pay 50 dollars extra for a hood prop, witch is probably true lol. just seems silly to me, I'm sure there is people like that... John deere does this on E series cab tractors, only one door opens. who the heck wants a 50-60k cab tractor with 1 door its an extra little bit for the other door to open. I mean would someone pay 50-60k for a truck or car that only 1 door opened and you had to pay extra for the other door to open LOL
Would love to see an install video on an m4d71! Particularly tieing into the 3rd function and switch install! Also I have heard people complain about the heat in the hydraulic lines after extended use. Is this a cause for concern or normal?
Installing on a 7040. What do I do with the white wire? Does it terminate anywhere or just tape it off and leave in the tubing? No mention of it in the video and no instructions provided with the switch. Thanks
There is a sticker on the side showing where all the wires go, it’s easy to overlook. But the white wire is a dead wire or can be tied in with the black as it is just a ground wire that is used when wired into our valve.
Laurence Pylinski a snow blower, yes. Not sure about a post hole digger, I think you would want to use a third function valve for that did you can reverse the rotation. But if it doesn't need to be reversed then you can definitely use it for that.
