I have bought 3 thermometers and a Hub Mini. Integration with Alexa is useless, it can only tell you the temperature, something I can do already with the SwitchBot app. No routines can be triggered. Scenes within SwitchBot app are also useless, and you don’t even get a notification when the temperature is out of desired range
Hello, I'd like to report a problem. I bought switchbot so I could turn on and off my house devices. I installed the little bots and they worked fine with the SwitchBot app, however, I mainly bought them to be able to control the devices through alexa, so I followed this tutorial on connecting Switchbot to Alexa. I linked the accounts and did everything specified on this video. Finally, I finished the whole process and Alexa said that I could turn on or turn off the devices I linked "Balcony" and "Living Room". I told alexa to turn on Living Room and it worked fine, but when I told her to switch it off Alexa just said that she did not recognize a device called "Living Room". Same thing happened with "Balcony". It only turned on once through alexa and it stopped working, as if the devices had disconnected. To add on, I had to constantly link the devices to alexa, only to be able to turn on one bot and then suddeny stop working.
