This video is a dedicated tutorial of how to tell your computer that you switched your printer from being connected via USB to being connected via your network weather its by wifi or a ethernet cable. You don't need to uninstall and reinstall your printer if its already on your computer. You just go into the "Printer Properties" and under "Ports" tab add a new port using "TCP/IP" and putting in the IP address that your printer is now using, and then you apply those settings and you're good to go.
Finding the IP Address of your printer is different on almost all printers. If its not immediately visible from the home screen, try to find a way to print out a report that might be called Configuration Page, Network Configuration, NIC, Network settings, or anything along those lines. The IP address might be listed as being the "IPV4" or Port, or just IP. This will NEVER be 255.255.255.0 or any combination of 4 numbers ending in the number 1. It is not the Gateway, Subnet Mask, DNS address, or a Server. (If you're using a server this video is not for you.)
This tutorial should work for Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC's
