Thank you. I've always been a Windows fan, but I recently bought an m1 Macbook and am very impressed. Learning to use Mac has had its challenges so far, but the hardware of my Macbook has made it worth the switch. These shortcuts are super helpful. I had the fun of selecting "info" for 400+ files that I had selected in a picture folder. THAT was fun.

Been living in the Windows world for a very long time and just went back to Apple with a MacBook Pro. When I say 'went back,' that means after several decades. Exactly! completely agree with this. I use windows, mac and various linuxes over the years. And i learned that it would be the most beneficial for me if i do windows the windows way, mac/apple the mac/apple way and linux the linux way. Plus, having those "additional/extra/3rd parties" background apps will reserve some of the memory as well.

Great video! I needed something like this for sure after recently switching over from Windows. I'm actually really liking MacOS much more, but it's definitely a big change! I've been making sure I learn it all instead of changing it more like windows as I want to get used to something else. One thing I did do though was get that magnet app for snapping because I believe it's something that's absolutely needed.

Cmd+x does not cut in MacOS, but there is a way to cut and paste! To cut from one folder, you use the same Cmd+c to copy, but when you are pasting you have to use Cmd+Opt+v. This will paste the copy while removing from the original source (like Ctrl+x on windows)

Great Video, Sara! Hope You are Safe and Well. Your videos are quite Fun and Informative! Judy is Awesome! Cute Kittie! I think the first pair of Blue Frame glasses looked the Best! I mostly make Travel Vlogs, and I’ve been using a MacBook Pro (Early 2011) for almost 11 Years. I’ve was using OS El Capitan for quite a while, and it recently started giving more issues. I’m using OS Sierra Now, but there have been glitches and the MacBook has become very sensitive, it seems. I’ve been using Final Cut Express. I plan to get a new computer within 4-6 Months or so, since I also will be getting newer camera equipment. I will fully switch to Final Cut Pro (which I do like). Since I have been shooting in Full HD 1920 x 1080 60fps (for my newer Vlogs), would it be better to get a 24in iMac (M1) or 16in MacBook Pro with M1 Pro Chip? I mostly will not be taking my laptop with me on trips (but it is a possibility), but I know it has convenience, such as if I need to take it to the Apple Store). Features and Efficiency are more important than the look of the product. Since I won’t be shooting in any format over Full HD for Now, is there any need to get the M1 Pro Max? It seems like the M1 Pro Laptop with 16 GB Unified Memory and 1 TB storage would be good for me. I think if I decide to shoot in 4K, it should be able to handle it, and I plan to keep the laptop/computer for at least 10 Years. What would You suggest? I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thank You. All the Best! Take Care, Pawan. 😊
