Ok so when I made this video I wasn't entirely sure what to do, BUT I do now! So SWOLA will continue on every other week. The other weeks there will be another NEW morning show That I think you guys will enjoy! First episode in a week!

In the golf community it's pretty hard to get exposure so reaching out to the metal community. It's about the journey of a beginner golfer that doesn't fit the mold and of course there is always some nice metal music to enjoy. Of course guess who ... 😉😘 and rights preserved for the owners. Ola, thank you so much for the year of this content and the opportunity to engage with you and others in this community. I have met so many awesome people doing the riff challenge the past few months & hope to continue that in some fashion. I like the proposed idea of doing it less often but with more of a focus on it! I'd watch a half hour long video just dedicated to it, honestly! Either way, I've been a fan for years now and will continue watching you put out content as long as you continue making music! \m/

It's so crazy to me you play with guys from At the Gates since you play with The Haunted. ATG is one of the most important bands to happen in the metal scene, and a lot of people don't seem to realize three 5ths of that band went on to form The Haunted. And you get to play with those guys because of this RU-vid channel. Blows my mind! I'm so happy for you dude. Cheers!

My take: I love sitting down on sunday with my eggs and bacy, coffee and toast and watch your face talk about music stuff (not just playing, but talking - but playing too!) It's been a super nice return to waking up early and watching pokemon in the weekends as a kid tbh, really enjoy your sunday content! I'm not saying "keep sunday with ola" - I AM saying keep the time slot!

Its great to hear that you will be changing things up to do what makes you happy and interested with the content, that's the main thing :) Also, I think its a good idea to have a dedicated video for fan submissions and to have it every other week so that fans get time to work on them and you get time to check them out. I think its a great idea and it might give me time to get my guitar chops up to speed and add a submission to the challenge! :D

Thanks for all the opportunities to write music, the pressure of having less than a week(roughly 2 days for me because I don't actually get to sit down with a guitar until Tuesday) to come up with a few riffs has gave me the push I needed at times to write some shit that I'm actually happy with, and for my band to use aswell! I just now regret not taking part at all this year so far 😞 hopefully the riff challenges stay, or you do something similar in the future, but there's no point in doing something if you don't enjoy it at the end of the day. Next week should be interesting!

Just putting this out there, I got really sick and I loss most of my muscle mass, I'm so weak now I can't even play guitar, but I was watching the other week when you were talking about Warhammer and it inspired me to start playing again at 40. Your feelings on At the Gates is my feelings towards my friends in black metal making it big out of the PNW in the US. Some people got miffed at the rapid growth, but whatever. I just loved seeing my friends go from playing dive bars, and tiny gigs in the woods to Inferno fest, Hellfest, and Wacken. I loved it, to see those boys come from almost nothing in these small hick towns to playing the best festivals in metal brings me joy, massive amounts of joy. Decades of pain, work, and sacrifice trying to keep that scene alive. Now they are finally getting the respect they deserve.
