I completed Sword and Fairy 6 on PS4. despite its kinks, its totally worth it and one of a kind. Sword and Fairy 7 (Together Forever) is leagues better in graphics and gameplay than its predecessors. The stories really are special in this series, I have playlists for Sword and Fairy and Xianxia stuff. They should bring the other 5 to Playsation consoles too, though this game has to sell really well and with support perhaps they could outsource the classics to bring them as well. I think this could be the turning point for the series in the west because Sword and Fairy 6 is older than when it debuted on PS4, so its visuals and optimization tests peoples patience, though Sword and Fairy 7 is modern generation and looks and plays mountains greater than the previous one, so mainstreamers have a lot of quality to experience that no RPG fan would miss out on. Sword and Fairy developers really put a lot of attention to detail in characters, enviornment, etc. it can inspire a lot of people with unique genius and beauty to its style and nature.

All I know is, it's a long running series in Taiwan.

i was just about to post i got the limited edition of sword and fairy 6 from play asia when they put it out. i never opened it as i heard it was buggy but needed it for the rpg complete collection. so this is actually a 7th one then???

What kind of gameplay is it? As far as the combat, is it an action game? It was kind of hard to tell, but if you were to compare the combat to another game what would you compare it to? Like a Dark Souls or a Dragon's Dogma, or is it more like a Final Fantasy 15? Kind of hard to tell from this video, but if it is straight up action combat it looks really cool

@@aandy078542 thank you for responding. Word, that's a tiny bit disappointing but I figured from watching the trailer that might be a possibility. I just hope they can do it as well as FF 15 did, FF 15 had the strongest auto-combat-type battle system I've played in any game, and even though I wouldn't usually be for it I think they made it work there

@@fozzythasalesman6125 i hope you realize that the full game is already available on PC. It was launched back in october last year. You can try the demo to see how the gameplay feels like or straight away watch a couple of gameplay walkthroughs on youtube before making a purchase decision

I’m highly impressed, I wish we had more of these games in the US. I’m playing Sword & Fairy 6 right now and I found a copy of Xuan Yuan Gates of Firnament. The newest Xuan Yuan led me to looking into games that Softstar released with English subtitles. Even if Sword & Fairy 6 and Xuan Yuan Gates of Firnament might be a little bugged, the stories are portrayed well and I’ve felt myself caring more about the characters than in most newly released games. I look forward to this new release. I want more!

It has nine series of this game but the early series are too old and has no english versions u can check online maybe someone translate the old series in English Btw,the sixth is also on consloe(but doesn’t do well on ps4 ,personal opinion)but rest of them are on pc I recommend u play this one on console but u can play the rest on pc
