That's why I'm honestly kinda bummed they did it. I have decks on the backburner and now they lost the protection they needed to even try to compete. They could've banned Jet Synchron to allow non-meta to continue playing those cards. Oh well, less for me the Fire King Snake-Eye player to worry about now

@@babradwho cares about that they are still getting cooked as you can see. Baronne and savage were only being made by SOME SE decks. They are still teir 0 without them. Theres no change to SE power level. Other decks just suck even more now.

@@Harmonic14 because i dont have a problem with generic cards? I started playing yugioh when it was invented. Im not an archetype snob. Also i dont like that new decks play through everything so i need an omni negate to be able to play through one board breaker. I also dont put a monster on my opponents field to play around evenly or lock them completely out of playing which is way worse than one omni negate. You prefer generic floodgate monaters with protection like colossus? Then you think ariseheart should come back? It doesn't have protection and its only made in kashtira. Cool?

With the death of barrone. Synchro decks will be extremely open to nibiru. I don’t know how swordsoul can beat nibiru outside of a clumsy chaofeng line.

Nibiru makes an effectless token, seems like the best answer to it is to focus more on the Tenyi side of the build instead, which unironically lets you turn that token into a boss monster itself.

@@CrystronHalq and if you do that you cant protos call fire anymore. You need ashuna to summon out fire tenyi. The chaofeng combo isnt worth it anymore

On a serious note I never liked generic bosses like baronne/savage in the game, but man does it feel like many decks now just become "can you do anything about nib/evenly or not?", snake-eyes can eat a nib and continue on, not sure if the game will necessarily be better without those two versus just making more decks insta-lose to certain cards

On the real what actually puts out generic negates now lol. Branded just got better (sanctified dodging the list) tear still has a toad, anything that plays adventure now needs to keep it, shs should’ve had it’s link brought back (no barrone no problem), I guess whatever can use regulus and barrone now and can extend is gonna be the next pile deck lol
