Even though they don't meet, what one does affects the other. For example, it's implied that you could've romanced Darth Malora at one point, however one of the Jedi classes can actually kill her, which is why she may not appear.
Hate to break it to you, but Emperor already mastered both dark and light side. This is one of the reasons why he is so powerful. Dark side allows him to get more power by absorbing others just like sith inquisitor does. Light side allows him to keep full control over himself and prevent his mind from shattering.
@@wisp6826 One of the writers confirmed that Valkorion only believes that he uses both sides (just as he only believes himself to be a god) but he is dark to the core. Think of it; he never used powers associated with tranquility/healing/meditation associated with the light side, all he did was shoot massive storms of lightning, sith rituals, Force Drain...etc. As for his mind, he planned to eat the whole galaxy so he could live longer and visit other galaxies. Are you sure he wasn't completely insane?
Imagine if there was a choice to stay with the sith and it just branches off to the sith warrior wirh all the companions like vette, quinn, and jaesa Edit: and jaesa might even recognize you
Actually making a sith to look like a previous Jedi character gives context to the beginning of the sith warrior story, could be why you get through training so fast
I feel that would have destroyed the engine for the game. It's a pity. SWTOR is great, but the MMO formula/engine is the thing that holds the game from achieving the most potential for its stories.
I seriously love this scene. Sith who acknowledges that he's unbalancing those who seek balance and opts to leave. Hadn't seen a compelling Sith villian since KOTOR 2
You can be a literal Dark Jedi. They clearly don’t like it, but you’re still ok their side and still follow their orders so they can’t very well reject you with a war going on.
I honestly feel these cutscenes would be more impactful if you saw your character doing more intense things for the empire like actively battling against the republic and the Jedi instead of just fighting droids and almost torturing Kira. I mean they could be doing that but it’s pretty ambiguous.
@@kauyanDJ a whole arc is asking a lot. Cutscenes were the bare minimum but maybe like a detour or something of being evil would just make the whole being controlled by the emperor thing more impactful. Like all your other allies go become sith generals and ur just kinda in the sith station doing acolyte work.
anyone try playing a good boy jedi till your capture then went grey to dark side afterwards? Feels more fitting if you ask me as no one can resist the Emperors will unaffected he is the dark side incarnate after all.
I play sith pureblood jedi knight. At first play as pragmatist with a little bit of darkside traits held back by jedi teaching. After emperor my jedi stop resisting darkside and succumb to it. Still be a pragmatist of course.
I always found this part of the story really lame like for real. "Hey the Emperor turned you darkside" "How?" "He just did okay" "Okay well how long was I evil" "A long time" "Well How LONG of a time!?" "Dont worry about it." "Wha- well at least tell me what they made me do" "No" "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" (also getting freed by a force ghost is just lazy writing)
The problem is that bioware played favorites with the sith faction, at this point they should just refund the people that spent money on the republic faction and wipe it from the game because they clearly don't give a damn about the stories on the republic or the dialogue.
The Jedi trying to redeem the emperor of the sith was completely arrogant and foolish, they obviously failed to see that to be the emperor of the sith is to be the dark side manifested into one being, every sith thats has come and gone. Absolute evil and darkness.
Eh I see your point but I do get why some of the Jedi would be like ‘violence is at times pointless’ at least it shows different viewpoints right? Not sure how trying to redeem the emperor is ‘arrogant’😅
It’s arrogant because they think their way the light is right and the only way and that they could change the nature of the natural darkness that exists with light. Darkness/evil is apart of everything, especially good/light you cannot have one without the other. By that concept and logic them trying to redeem/destroy darkness is dangerous to the everything whether they know it or not. That said I’m not saying the sith are right either they’re both arrogant in their own rights.
What if you could split his spirit in 2, a ghost of Tenebrae, and a personification of pure corruption. The corruption would flee and search for a new host. The ghost of Tenebrae would be redeemable(LS), but you could also consume him and use him as a strong force power, binding him to your will(DS). My idea
The one thing I hate about the Jedi and sith characters are how op they are. The sith character defeats Revan by himself with a companion, if they wanted to make Revan’s fall believable they should’ve made him weaker since he was locked up for 300 years and the strike team to kill him should’ve had elite sith masters who accompany you to defeat him
It’s mindblowing how good the story in this game is. Even more mind blowing that most of it is free to play! I bought premium just out of respect for the devs!
Right? They could of had you doing evil things and the only choice being do it, or stop playing. Either make all 3 choices be different kinds of evil, or have them all be things like "No way, I won't do it!" but no matter which you pick, you still say the same "As you wish, My master" line
How did you get the outfit changed during the cutscene? In my playthrough my jedi knight kept his jedi armor and blue lightsaber even when captured by the emperor.
Eric Mark the magical power of editing. Press escape when it faded to black, change gear, retrigger the cutscene, edit it all like it transitions smoothly
Thinking about it, his plan almost went REALLY REALLY WRONG. The emperors, I mean. Malichor V created beings that could have easily surpassed him had they been given the chance. Nihlus in particular could have eclipsed him easily. Had he devoured a few more worlds himself before turning his attention towards him, he would have been FUCKED.
Negative. Vitiate not only was stated to be capable of outperforming Nihilus in scale (as the Jedi Knight chapter 3 revolved stopping him from using his drain powers on the entire galaxy), but he also can do it in a much more controllable fashion, through the Nathema ritual first, and then at his later attempts at revisiting it in JK Chapter 3, the events of Shadow of Revan and Ziost. Also, Vitiate found a way to "channel" the energy he siphoned, into becoming virtually undying. He made his original body immortal and, by all indications, also his spirit. Even after the destruction of his physical form(s), he lingered as a spirit attempting to possess the Outlander, only being finally destroyed at great effort.
Is this authentic? or are you just roll playing? You can actually convert to darkside and stay there ? Do you get to retain jedi abilities and animations ?
Now if you want the best story in the game then play as the imperial agent as it is rumored that the agent's storyline was the first worked on if you want your kotor story though the knight is for you the rest is really dependent on your taste.
Hopefully I get a response to this despite asking on a four year old video. Normally when you hit escape during a cut scene you can restart it by talking to whoever again. But I noticed a few of the cutscenes during the Knight's brainwashing seem to be separate from one another. Are there any that if you skip, you can't play them again?
Nope, different character, The Sith Emperor is way more dangerous, also, he is the cause why Revan and Alek (Malak) turned to the dark side in the first place
Well, the Sith Emperor is Extremely Powerful, but Nihilus total and absolute assimilation and absorbation of the dark side transformed him into something so Powerful that he couldnt even be Killed, he still exists in his Mask, even after his body was destroyed, He is one of the, if not THE most Powerful Sith to ever exist.
Hi again, I returned to swtor, and I want the gear you have in the first imagine, how you get it?? In what mission from Odessen?? What heroics or flash points? Or you have one extra for sell?
Probably a stupid question but how did you manage to change your outfit and lightsaber colour within the cutscene? I don’t remember there being two separate cutscenes for this level.
I got to this point and it didn't change my outfit or saber color like in this video did they change this or something? and I was a sentinel class jedi knight
Same- I think this person specifically changed his armor before finishing this cutscene (or did the cutscene twice and spliced the two together) so as to facilitate the switch of armor. It's not something this scene does automatically, I think.
At what point in the story does this happen? Is this at the end of the main story? I thought the only time the sith emperor was shown was from the start of the KOTFE story
so you can start as a jedi and go dark and vice versa? I mean I know they have that dark vs light thing like paragon and renegade, but I didn't know you could actually choose sides... or can't you?
Your "political alignment" doesn't change, it's rigid throughout the storyline. But you can be a Dark Jedi through the choices you make along the main stories. It affects the course of things to the point that you are not officially declared a Jedi Master at the end of Chapter 3, because of your brushes with the Dark Side
The Jedi find the location of the Sith Emperor and send a group to take him. They get way too cocky and get anally raped, which leads to them turning to the dark side. After a while MC frees himself after speaking to the ghost of his former master and is helped by Lord Scourge, a Sith serving the Emperor but secretly working against him because he thinks killing everything in the galaxy is a bit too hardcore even for Sith. The Emperor wants to use Belsavis, a planet the Republic secretly uses as a massive prison, to perform a ritual that will allow him to become mega OP by killing everyone on it and absorbing their life force, and you be like hell naw. This is part of the Jedi Knight's story in SWTOR, which ties with the events of KOTOR 1 and 2.
