Honestly, I have no idea where Valkorion says that. I just heard it in one of DuDuFilm's videos at the very end. They do a lot of Star Wars tributes/arrangements on their channel of significant quality, and I reccomend checking out their channel if you haven't already. I think the video in question is the second part of a trbute to Valkorion, maybe with something along the lines of "Death of a God" in the title, or something along similar lines. Maybe not, my memory isn't so great when it comes to these things, but either way you should be able to find the video without too much trouble.
Random Star Wars fan: "Woah. There's a lot of interesting Sith Lords out there, but they can all be proud of Sidious. I mean, he succeeded where they all fail: destroying the Jedi order and conquering the galaxy. There can't possibly be one that puts him to shame!" Tanebrae: "Hold my beer."
Right? He didnt even try to destroy the jedi, jedi and sith were child toys to him, he manipulated an entire galaxy without even being there personally.
Ikr? And there are STILL some "nerds" who have gone through the Old Republic Games and continue to insist that Sidious is still THE BEST Sith Lord. Smh.
sidious also made A LOT of tactical decisions that valkorion/vitiate/tenebrae didnt do, focusing all your recources into one space station, which only had the purpose to strike fear into people or to destroy recource rich planets vitiate aslo lived more lives/longer etc etc etc
Shelke Rui Well, Vitiate was more powerful, but he was less clever. Both Vitiate and Sidious had working plan to stay immortal. If others haven't interfered, they could live forever, using essence transfers. Both of them had insanely powerful empires at their command. Vitiate had 2, both incredibly powerful, but built only one and started building it, already posessing most of his power. Sidious as mediocrely-powerful Sith took over a weak organisation, and transformed it into galactic-wide superpower. If they fought at the peak of their power, Vitiate would win. But if they had to start from the scratch, Sidious would win
Maybe it's because this theme is so dirge-like, but it makes Valkorion/Tenebrae seem entire orders of magnitude more powerful, malevolent, and sinister than Palpatine could ever have dreamed of being. Like death itself given form and will.
This theme is that of life and the hunger that comes from it.To devour entire civilizations in a matter of seconds leaving nothing but husk of worlds. The power of the Ancient Sith this is their theme.
Darth Sidious in the EU is far more impressive, - Force Storms that can destroy fleets, planets and teleport people - Mind control and empire and a 3 trillion planet civilization and drained the planet's energy - Cheated death and needed all jedi to ever exist to stop him He can do all Vitiate could but on a whole different scale
I love Marr He is all like a TRUE Sith should be He really follows the code Vitiate only devours and destroys and than vanished Marr was a true ruler, the best the imperium ever had
@@SinisterWarlock he doesn’t truely follow the sith code. He cared too much about the empire resulting in weakness and being stuck in his “chains”. Vitiate is self serving and one of the most powerful Sith Lord to exist. Even then he was still a great leader to Zakuul. Sorzus Syn, the creator of the sith code believes that one should only care for themselves and seek power and any cost.
@@jessiezhang8311 you coud laruge he didnt fear death, tmhe breaking his chains, Marr is certainlya better or at leats roe decnet person than Vitiate, that donest neccesayr eqaute to being the best sith in fact it coudl be the opposite thoguh I perosnally like twisting the sith code
This song sounds like something that I'd hear if an ancient Egyptian pharaoh or Roman emperor from millennia ago got resurrected and was bent on world domination.
I think, Valkorion/Vitiate is my favourite SW villian now. My top 2 fav is Darth Traya. Valk really gives a fibre of omnipotent villian who is a universe-level threat Also, all his quotes are just awesome. And his ultimate goal is horrific and yet, actually epic (transcende and experience everything, then devour all life and repeat the cycle) Besides, his mindscape (or is it Outlander's? :-) ) with forever frozen scenes and grandiouse sculptures is plain epic
As much as I loved Valkorion/Vitiate as a villain in KOTET, Traya will forever be my favorite. Because, by the end of KOTOR2 (especially if you have the restoration mod) you realize that she actually has a point and I love villains that aren't all 'look at me I'm evil' and actually can make a statement that makes sense. Also, in KOTFE I felt like there was a really really subtle parallel between Vaylin and Traya mostly because of this quote: "But there must always be a Darth Traya, one that holds the knowledge of betrayal. Who has been betrayed in their heart, and will betray in turn."
I disagree with your comparsion of Vailyn and Traya. While Vailyn was betrayed (or sees herself betrayed, like with Senya) by literally everyone, she is, like Traya would put it, just a "Child with lightsaber". She is insanely powerful, but she never could use her powers properly. Traya would smack her upside down just because she knows far more subtle and deadly Force techniques. Also, unlike other Sith, Traya has the noblest goal, from some perspective. And Vailyn is just a broken child with a narrow mind Besides, Vailyn never betrayed anyone. Well, if one doesn't count her executed underlings. P.S. I liked the scene where Traya just stabs herself with lightsaber to KO Exile (if you kill Jedi Masters on Dantooine) and then easily stands and goes away. Take that, all other SW villians
I agree with you, although his fate at the ending of KotET was a little... I dunno... The writers expanded the story way too much to the point of not knowing how to en it. There are times when I believe that TOR should have ended with Shadow of Revan. It is when their most iconic character meets his end, so so should have the series, in my opinion. Besides, just like theRougeQueen, I like Traya much more than Vitiate (man, I have to get KotOR II somehow...)
KotET was way better then KotFE. I liked where they tried to go with FE but, they kind of tangled different stories into one big cluster fuck. A lot of potential but, executed poorly. (Not unlike a certain betrayal in SW story.) In KoTET, one of the more talented writers came back to save them from the mess they got into and sorted it out. He did what he could, basically. Its not going to win an award for writing anytime soon but I still enjoy the stories in SWTOR
There's something really unsettling about Vaylin (at 3:46) when she curls up like that, and lightning sprouts out of her body.... For some reason, I get chills just by seeing that.
It would seem that almost everyone compares Valkorion to Sidious (which I can understand). Both were the most powerfull Sith of their respective eras. The difference however lies in how they see their respective Empires and servants. Palpatine knew he needed his Empire to stay in power, he knew that he needed Vader and to a lesser extend the Inquisitors. Valkorion on the other hand simply saw the Sith Empire as a means to an end. Valkorion never took an Apprentice, simply because he didn't need one, just like he didn't need the Starforge or the Foundry. Valkorion drew strength from death. He manipulated BOTH the Sith Empire and (through them) the Old Republic to go to war (which made him stronger) all the while his FOCUS lied with Zakuul. Yes Sidious had various Superweapons (that had weaknesses) while Valkorion on his own should be classified as a Superweapon. Yes I agree Sidious is a snake while Valkorion is a dragon, but even a snake bows to a dragon. As for the people who would say that Valkorion and his Empire would lose against Sidious and his Empire. Who is to say that Valkorion would allow Sidious to become emperor? Do keep in mind that the Clone Wars was the biggest conflict since the final battle against the Brotherhood of Darkness. Valkorion becomes stronger with each death. That was also the reason why he manipulated the Sith Empire to go to war with the Old Republic. The Galactic Republic would have lost the Clone Wars had order 66 never happened. Valkorion could have just invaded Coruscantand wiped out the Jedi and Sidious in one fell swoop and than go after the Seperatists. That is who Valkorion is. His dream was the total anihalation of the Galaxy while Sidious wanted total domination.
Valkorian real dream was always to live and to live anyway he wanted. It’s why he wanted the outlanders body as his next vessel. He always intended to play the part of hero, saviour and rule over the both republic and Sith. At least till once again would fight with old enemy “death” and seek out other experiences of life. It’s not just death all life but rather he wanted all life for himself and all experiences to enjoy it. That was his real goal; to experience all of life, forever.
This music embodies who DARTH TENEBRAE THE GREAT DRAGON OF Zakkul REALLY IS..... THE EMBODIMENT OF POWER.... BOTH POLITICAL AND IN THE DARK SIDE OF THE FORCE ALL *HAIL HIM THE TRUE EMPEROR LORD VALKORION!!!!*
Not really nihulus. He only served himself, not caring about the force, only about his hunger. I think vitiate, reven, and malgus are the 3 perfect embodiments of the dark side. Vitiate is the power, reven is the balance, and malgus is the warrior.
The Mask of many faces... Those many faces? Are the faces he controls and manipulates to his own ends. That's the beauty and terror behind it. He even wears them. He could even wear you if you let him... *Shiver*
Wasn't even as much as being evil. Rather neutrally, with pure will following what serves him without any regards. Sit it out for a better opportunity later? Ok. Annihilate entire planet in one swoop? Ok. Sith or Jedi code? Pass, don't need it.
@@Xerkrosis I think he was completely and utterly evil. I mean the guy tortured his own mother (who saved him from his father) for MONTHS and then annihilated the whole planet's population just because he wanted to be immortal. If that wasn't enough proof that this man is completely twisted and evil, just look at how he tortured his own daughter and planned to eventually feed on the whole galaxy just because of a hedonistic personal desire to experience life at it's fullest. He wasn't just evil, he was insane.
Not going to lie, the first time upon the bridge of the Eternal throne, with this opening theme ( like what you hear at the start of the video.) i thought i was marching towards my death there.
There's no Sith I admire more than Vitiate. Sure, he's "evil", but he's also wise and I can get behind everything he said during that carbonite dream. His power, what he's achieved, building 2 of the most powerful empires in the galaxy, practically immortal... As his Wrath, I was honored when he told me he would kill me last :p Then I was surprised he would share his power, which admittedly sounded fishy, knowing him. But dear Emperor... taking my body as a vessel, I take that personally. I'm kinda sad he's gone now, unless... seems like Scourge had some updates recently... about Vitiate's original body. I always welcome more Vitiate lore :D
"You believed you had won. That your achievements outweighed your losses. That your sacrifices meant something. Anything. After all that I've done... All that I have enslaved... All that I have destroyed... You should have known. You do not know the true face of power. But you will. Very soon... you will." - Valkorian/ Vitiate/ Tenebrae
I never have Koth alive at this point of the story.. *meaning the starting scene where the outlander walks throu the pile of bodies to the eternal throne.
@Lion Of Judah It doesn't make him superior to Valkorion if he is not as powerful lol. Nihilus was too concerned about feeding. He was easily distracted and could be easily defeated with a slight of hand by Sidious or Valkorion.
"The circle closes. The end begins." The Emperor stands up from his throne, shrouded in the shadows. He then proceeded to sit up, and walk to the edge of the steps. "You dissipated your energy saving the weak. There are consequences." Suddenly, the Jedi Knight felt the appearance of spectres, mere illusions however, which he proceeded to dispatch. By the time it was done, the Emperor had already descended the steps, staring right at the Jedi with his eyes that burned red with silent hatred. "My life spans millennia. Legions have risen to test me." The Jedi inquired. "If you kill everyone in the galaxy, you'll be the Emperor of nothing. What's the point of all this?" The Emperor's delayed a little, almost as if he was judging the Knight if he was worthy of the answer, but a response did follow. "You discern a fraction of reality. Beyond these stars exist other galaxies, other worlds, other beings. I will experience them as I wish. I will spend eternity becoming everything: A farmer, an artist, a simple man. When the last living thing in the universe finally dies, I will enjoy peace and wait, for the cycle to begin again." "You will never possess that kind of power!" "There is no death. There is only the force- and I am its master. My ascendance is inevitable. A day. A year, a millennium- it matters not. I hold the patience of stone and the will of stars. Your striving is insignificant. Let your death be the same."
Hitler:"1.0000 year reich" Hmmmm, that sounds promising _WW2 happened,Hitler is defeated_ Not promising enough Palpatine/Sidious:"10.000 years Empire" Hmmmm, that sounds promising _Galactic Civil War happened,Palpatine/Sidious is defeated_ Not promising enough Tenebrae:"1th century long Sith Empire" Hmmmm, sounds promising _Many Wars happened but Tenebrae still cannot be defeated_ Promising enough👏
Where did you get those like dynamic backgrounds that start at like 1:47? Like the scenes with Valkorian and Arcann but the characters aren't moving? Do you have like high def stills of them I could use as wallpapers? They are so beautiful. To quote Krennic from Rogue One: "Oh it's beautiful"
I just recorded them, they are all scenes from Chapter 9. As for the other scenes, I couldn't find the source videos for them. You can set the video to 1080p and take a screenshot of the video with PrintScr though.
This guy will possibly give you nightmares as a kid When you play SWTOR and you're 6 years old You possibly have a nightmares of Vitiate chase you and try to drain your life
Sure, if you want to be a force condom for a sadistic soiophatic monster. You saw what he did to you, he never had the intention to share anything with you.
Hey Averth ! Could you please upload the soundtrack which is played when you meet Darth Acina on Dromund Kaas in Chapter 2 "Run for the shadows" ? Maybe I'm hearing things, but there's a subtle musical reference to The Knights Of Ren / Kylo Ren's theme, mixed with Killzone 2's soundtrack.
Will do. I've been meaning to upload that one, but I'm not happy with the video I made for it. I may end up just putting it out there since I don't have much free time these days...
I think Tenebrae would win.... there might be a little struggle but Valkorian has all the power Nihilus has if not more... and Darth Vitiate seems to have a lot more control over his power unlike Darth Nihilus who seems a lot more out of control power Hungry...
You are hearing it wrong. The words you hear in that particular line are "Ima in mano sunt; Vorator Terrarum", meaning "The most inferior are in his hand; Devourer of Worlds".
Maybe it's just me, but the "AHHHH!" vocals are just to in your face and, as someone mentioned, it's very "Dirge" like. Not lots of harmonic interest. In a word "boring"
