The new intakes come with a recirculating hose and a connection to it on the coupler (not present in this video for some reason). Is there an easy way to take off the oem one to install the one provided?

This box is supposed to reduce or eliminate the vacuum noise?

It reduces the induction sound, but provides for cooler air since it’s enclosed. So you get the best of both worlds!

I assume this doesn’t affect performance (in any way) or fuel economy, correct? I’d be down to order one myself just for the engine bay to look a little prettier.
