Is the vacuum sensor mounted to the air box supposed to be capped? Other aftermarket intakes remove it completely but I'm assuming that would cause a check engine light
Do you all have a video on how to install your Alcantara shifter/shift boot in cars with the DCT? How do you remove the factory shifter/leather boot and then install yours?
I picked up the single exit then exchanged it for the dual when the package came it was missing the exhaust bracket and the center cover they overnighted my question is what’s the valve for in the middle exhaust pipe on the stock exhaust and without that valve is it ok to run this aftermarket exhaust guess will find out I know it sounds good ❤
The product works as advertised! but there are some omissions from the video. My kit arrived with the new brackets in a bag and qty-2 missing 4mm bolts. The video needs an edit to the voiceover to say "install the brackets with the hardware provided" etc. Also need to explicitly call out installing the provided pegs into bottom of airbox. Third: if you torque the clamps in the order shown, the airtbox ends up 15-20mm too far right. Works better to leave all clamps loose until after securing airbox to frame with push clip. Then adjust & tighten all hose clamps.
If you guys don’t like the top part of the armrest sliding forwards, then open the armrest, take one of the top screws in it out, use a drill to drill a guiding hole through the plastic to where the original hole was, and send the screw through it. It will basically stop the armrest from sliding on the top as the plastic part and the top are stuck together.
I just got the single exit and realized it only had 2 star review so I’m trying to return it for the dual which sounds better and has a 5 star review is a little more expensive
So if your tech stupid and/or intimdated by this, your FUKCED and stuck at stock power/torque 🤔 Patch this, run that, scroll over here, can't do this...WTF! I wonder how many owners have fukced up their cars🤔 I've had 2 tuned ECU's, not from SXTH and both are have been trash! If the Leafs fan can't figure it out, how in the hell can I do it🤷♂️🙄🤷♂️🙄
Is the vacuum sensor on the airbox now left with two open ports? The video says to reconnect the electric but does not provide any direction for the two uncovered vacuum ports?
Hey I already did this process for the ECU but i want to add your TCU tune, is it the same process except for the TCU? Theres no patch files on the site
The only thing stopping me from buying this single exit is the canister and tip. I think they would have looked better if it had a long tip and the canister pushed back so it hides inside the bumper while the tip still sticks out. Kind of like how the hks exhaust for the mk4 Supra is.
To everyone: the piping also has smoother, gentle-er bends so the sound waves will sound different than the stock midpipe as it travels through the piping.
Had the same problem initially that’s boost leaks you need to get a good seal you can you hairspray or silicone lube but make sure you tighten very good (lots of boost going through those pipes) I pressure tested and sprayed soapy water to find leaks. We fixed all of them now it’s perfect. I see this post is 4 weeks old did you tighten all the couplers and find all the leaks
They stopped making them for a while. I got mine from a guy who never installed them. Was gonna resell till I saw they were not even on the website, threw on and never looked back
i would assume they mean put in in on mode engine off not accessory, you cant even read codes in accessory mode so idk why this video keeps calling it accessory
Disappointed start..Installed mine today I hear a boost leak when in high amount of boost. Installed exactly per instructions install was completed by master mechanic. Hissing sound when in boost above 1.5. Im bringing back sunday..not a good start **** UPDATE FIXED had the system pressure testing found boost leaks couplers were not tight enough and now it pulls full boost pulls HARD and At a lower rpm nothing crazy but no heat soak no more.. went to full send Motorsports they fixed it in a hour. Any mods you have to ready for these things to happen. Nice upgrade
Update had it pressure tested and had a few boost leak on new charge pipe from couplers not being tight enough.. fixed no more boost leak car pull hard and at lower rpm.. nice upgrade
