Lol exactly as a floridian I was at the beach before irma hit and so was literally everyone else it was one of the most populated times I've seen the damn beach

I remember watching the second one and Tara Reid’s character was in a plane crash or something when the sharknado happened, she woke up in the hospital and told Fin about one of the sharks that stared at her and she really said “I felt like it knew me.” I DIED 💀💀💀

as a SoCal resident, i'll say this's just a whole movie about how we react to natural disasters. angry ass wind full of sharks? your manager still wants you to come in to work closing shift. two seconds of rain? 7 accidents within the hour on the 405 cause we can't figure out how to drive on damp ground. like it just don't add up here lol
As someone who grew up in Huntington Beach... A hurricane for us is literally just a lot of rain. The bars stay open. We've never had a deadly, Florida like hurricane lol.
As someone who lives in Florida, most people wait to the last minute to close their stores, unless they are evacuating right then. The only people who evacuate early are those on the water or in flood areas that are below sea level. Most people go to the beach before evacuating because they know there is going to be construction after the storm for a while due to beach erosion.
DANIxDANGER even for us Floridians it’s just an extended rain storm. My store didn’t close till hours before hurricanes hit and you’re back when it’s technically passed even if it’s still raining 🤣
Hahaha I used to live on the west Florida coast. When there was a hurricane coming, people barely evacuated even if it was a mandatory evacuation, everything stayed open until the day of the hurricane, and we all went to the beach before and after the hurricane. In other words, Sharknado would've been more believable if it was based in Florida 🤷🏽♀️
Yeah in Florida we stay home and chill. The worst part for me was the sound of thunder and the heat that comes from having no power. But luckily we could just stand outside because the storm's wind is soooooooooooo cooling.

I watched this years ago and BOY is it a great time. The scene where Fin chainsaws his way through the shark and basically gives birth to himself by a cesarean section from the inside will stay with me forever.
