It was how they dressed then and looked. Sylvester Stallone actually wore glasses when doesn’t wear contacts. The glasses he wore in film were his and not a prop.
@@UtopiaBlue68 That's terrible news....LW4 was awful 23 years ago. And I don't want to see Stallone & Russell as old ass men tryi g to do it.NEVER WORKS. Dumb & Dumber Too, Coming 2 America, Terminator Dark Fate,...
Tango & Cash totally underated pure glorious 80's action movie about rivals who become friends and kick major ass. These two should have done more together great chemistry.
When you look at a list of famous roles that Kurt Russell was considered for, I can easily see him playing them. Han Solo and Sonny Crockett were both roles he was up for, and I could easily see him playing those characters.
@meg b Sly is a very funny guy. It’s sad many people don’t realize that. This is one of my favorite interviews of him. But he is funny in pretty much all of his interviews. 😂😍
@Scott Knode 🙄🤣 Dude, NO need to reply and tell me things I already know. Lmao 😂 I am one of the biggest Stallone fans out there. Been a fan for 40 years… get to finally meet him in December. I know all there is to know about Sly. So you can take your comment elsewhere to someone who actually does not know this. Have a nice life…. 😎🤣
@@lesasheridan8903 my bad wasn’t trying start anything with you and take your word for it that your a big fan and I am to and have been for over 25 years. Won’t hear anything more from me.
Sly tried, for some reason Kurt's agent said that he wasn't interested in an ensemble movie at that time. what a shame. he would steal the whole fucking movie
Well im afraid that would officially put an end to the Expendables...since i am even quite surprised how Seagal allowed his character to get beat up and drugged at the very end of his first film, and ever since then he has been a total badass and not at all vunerable in any way. And that goes for anyone major male lead in action movies, with the vunerabality essense of that character basically being non-existent, and thus making that character seeming that much more unrealistic and inhuman, with their enemies suddenly forgetting how to use guns, if they even have them on hand...but it always seems like some kind of out of shape nobody coming against the martial arts expert and in the process making him look that much better...??? I.E.--Do NOT get Seagal involved in this, period!
I really enjoyed this interview and remember I was in college when that movie came out and suddenly I'm feeling incredibly f****** old and sad that all this time just whizzed by. They look so young there it's unbelievable how time really just flies right by not to be all weird about it but jeez man for some reason watching these two guys looking so young and happy and remembering that movie really that aspect of it me hard thinking I'm now 30 years older than they were there and I was just a college kid and they were much older than me then. For some reason I just can't wrap my head around where all this time went...wonder if anybody else is feeling that way...
I have good news and bad news. What’s the bad news? We’re almost out of gas! What’s the good news? We’re ALmost out of gas. Luv that line the difference between an optimist and pessimist
