The Catholics get that part wrong. Why go to confession when you can appeal to the Creator of all directly? Why call a man "father" when the Bible forbids it?

@@analogman9697 we go to confession because that is how Jesus wants it. Remember when he healed this man, He said "show yourself to the priest". He gave us the church and priests to take care of all these things. Of course He forgives us the second we feel remorse but we must do as we are told and obey His church. The church is the pillar of the faith (timothy). Remember when the Lord said to the apostles : "whom you shall forgive their sins, shall they be forgiven. Whom you keep them, shall they be kept". He affects the way you live,act, think, and speak. The parts he plays are completely opposite of a person that is a follower of Jesus. I pray for you, Sylvester. Being a good catholic doesn't mean you are saved and on your way to heaven.Ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from having to pay for your sins. What testimony? The Catholic church can't save you! It was more of a story of coming to faith in a man-made institution. Catholics are taught that faith in Jesus and faith in the church are one and the same. I have known Catholics who are saved, but most of them that I have met are counting on the church to save them and not Jesus Christ.

Stallone does not actually say in this video that he is depending on the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus to have righteous standing with God. You might be assuming too much, sir.

He loves us all, but He does not save us all. We must respond to His saving grace through faith in what Jesus Christ has done FOR us in His atoning work.
