Join me on my day trip to the island of Symi. A small, rustic island just under an hour's ferry ride from Rhodes, Symi is a colorful island where the main port is tucked inside steep mountainsides lined with houses built with a unique architectural style. Many abandoned houses are scattered among them, some are even pockmarked since the 2nd World War.
In this video, I hike up and around the alleyways among these interesting houses, then enjoy some "Symi Shrimp" for lunch. Watch to see what makes Symi shrimp different from regular shrimp!
