Exactly P0700. SOooo 1-2 shift solenoid valve is stuck on. Shift solenoid A is stuck on. Hopefully only replacing Transmission Valve Body Assembly will fix this.
yea a shop said mine was in limp mode bc the computer in my car just “thought” i had a real problem and the shop said i didn’t so he rest it and yea it was running fine for like 2-3 weeks almost then boom it started doin the same thing so i took it to a real shop and they figured out it was my solenoid c that was bad
So far all of this sounds like but this sounds like my vehicle in my 2500 denali diesel. Somebody keeps telling me it's a transmission but after seeing this I think I rather give this a try then rebuild in this diesel transmission thank you
While that is true, typically Transmission Control Module is the first choice for TCM. If traction system has a control module manufacturers call it other things such all’s (VDC -Vehicle Dynamic Control System, Skid Control System, TCS Traction Control System, etc…
Thanks for the useful information. I have another symptom but not sure it is covered in the video. Sometimes the jeep is not taking the first gear it starts with the 2nd gear even if i moved the gear to L1. Is it the same issue?
My 2008 GMC Arcadia is telling me my transmission is hot, before i even turn it on... recently replaced a radiator hose and thermostat but it's still doing it. Could it be because of a damaged TCM?
i dont have any codes but my tranny has been weird for over a year. Im going nuts trying to figure out what is wrong with it without having to take it to a shifty shop to look at it and try to gouge me! I dont trust any shops! ugh! What can be wrong without throwing a code? There arent any videos on this!
I have found that it's Best to take your Vehicle to a Real Transmission Shop... They will charge Around $100 to diagnosed your transmission.. that's the Cheap part. 🤭
@@willpage79 I don't but I will invest in one. Right now me and my Dad is doing a drain and fill and see if that helps it not making any sounds just periodically going into limp mode.
I’m having the same issue in my 2017 Evoque. I’ve had the gear rotary knob checked and there’s no fault apparently. So after a long google search it could be the TCM . What car is yours?
My 98 4runner has been shifting into neutral every time i stop at a light for months now. It last maybe 5 seconds before it shifts back into Drive. Its so annoying. Do ya think its the TCM??

My 1997 Honda Accord EX Wagon set up for at least a year and seems to be slipping in 3rd gear, especially when turning or going up steep hills. It’s also running really sluggish which is probably limp mode I’m figuring. My car has all the signs of a bad shift solenoid. I took it off and cleaned it with brake fluid real good while I put current to it to open e’m up. One side was completely stopped up. I put it back on and I could tell immediately when I went thru the gears it was better but it’s still slipping a little bit and not changing gears like it should. Also, I did not put Honda Transmission fluid in it. Should I do this to all the trans solenoids? The solenoid I cleaned clicked when current was put to it. What should I try next?
I'm getting a p0720, which is an output speed sensor code, plus at light. I replaced the sensor, but that didn't work. I cleaned the inside of both input and output sensors and that cleared my problems for a couple weeks, then they came back. I'm stumped. My transmission fluid is good and I believe my wiring is good too, but idk what it could be. maybe I should've replaced both sensors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Maybe a bad solenoid. I repalced the whole transmission on my Chrysler 300 and it still didnt shift into 4th Gear. I would reach 60 mph and the RPMs would be over 6,000 and I could hear the engine. Bad solenoid.

every time by the UC Lancer goes into limp mode, I smell transmission fluid. I did a transmission flush over two months ago but it did not seem to start then. I had a cold air intake by my tire and water got into the filter into the throttle body and inside throttle body was caked with black dirt. Do you think main issue is is tcm?
What if i have none if the issues above except fuel economy? And the fuel economy is more thst likely my foot on gas pedal/ loads i carry/ oversized rims n tires. BUT I had it towed inbto nearby dealership and the diagnostic they ran told them to replace transmission module?? Truck is 2019 and has only 56k moles miles on it. Please any answers, thoughts or direction would be greatly appreciated.
I don't think the OBD2 scanner that you put in here has transmission codes , it says nothing about them? Also does anyone know p 0420. And p0054 the Cadillac converter and the O2 sensor , I'm having all these symptoms and i have a 2011 ford fiesta , but I think these codes can do the same thing if I'm not wrong please help anyone know ? Does my ob2 scanner doesn't read transmission codes and the one that he listed on here does it say anything about it does either.

Hi I have an 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo v6 3.7. getting codes U0404 P0700 loud whining like sound in all gears. Sounds like bad serpentine belt but it's definitely not that. I took belt off sound still happens). Sound comes from the passenger side
my tcm is beeping when i turn the key on ! i don t think it is ok since i get some harsh shifts and already replaced alot mechanical parts in the tranny . it is normal for the tcm to keep beeping ?

I have 2x DTCodes as follows: (i) U0103 'Lost comms with Gear shift Control Module A' ; (ii) U0404 ' Invalid data received from Gear Shift Control Module A'. my Gear Shifter is 'locked' in Park and my Brake pedal cannot be depressed. ( also 'locked up'). The engine won't start You don't mention any 'U' Codes pertaining to the Transmission Control Module..... Help!

Sir i have chevy impala 2018 v6 and i had transmission problems so fixed right then it start to develop the same problems you mentioned in video and checked my car by computer and it shown that i have bad TCM so i replaced it but without programming it and now the same problem persists so plz can you tell me how can I program TCM and does programming can fix the issue.. many thanks for your help
Hi, sometimes for no reason the rpms in my wj 4.7 2001 just drop or the car simply shuts off. But then it runs perfectly again, no issues at all, super smooth idling. The car also shifts normaly . .Could this also come from the TCM? PS I checked and cleaned the idle air control valve.
@@kashishsadadia3623 yes I think I did, I changed the MAP sensor. It was fairly easy to change and cost around 30$. Since then the Jeep runs like a charm.

I just got my trans rebuilt and had the torque comverter upgraded. Now i keep getting p0700 and p0797 Giy at shop told me it needs a tune for tje torque comver since it think it has a 1600 stall whem it actually has a 2400 stall
