Synth Kitch JD-XI - Vocoder fundamentals and tips

I need some suggestions about using a vocoder while also having synth parts, sequencers etc. playing. Like how to set the levels? I have a soft voice.

I'm not exactly sure how to word this question but I'll give it a try. I'm running Logic Pro 9 and I'm wanting to trigger my created sequences I've created in the JD-Xi to start in sync with Logic Pro. How do I do that? Or maybe a better way to ask is stopping and starting to record from the JD into Logic Pro--is that possible? I hope that makes sense. Thanks for your time.

What is some good headset mics?

Will roland be offering any additional patches etc. and I'd love to learn how Man Man made the custom sounds for the vocoder..really nice!!

Nice! Can the JD-Xi record the vocoder parts within the sequenced program? This would mean it's also part sampler. or is the vocoder for realtime playing only? I love that last vocoder patch...sounds talk-box west coast Roger ZAPtastic!

Are you able to sing with a vocoder effect on it, but without hitting keys? Just a vocoder effect in the voice alone?
