Something like this has been a long time coming since even the very first gen my dudes!! Kalos' return is about to open the whole floodgames! I'm down to be wrong LOL this is just too much fun to talk Kalos again
That two things is I’ll start with a theory. So you know how in PLA Arceus is the main man and in Z-A Zygarde is. We how about the A could me Arceus so as legends progresses you get more mythics in the same game. Also UPLOAD THE FINALE TO TJE SWORD AND SHIELD EXTREME RANDO. I NEED IT!!
I think the Starters will be Snivy because the gate for the palace in X and Y had Serperior on it Piplup because Empoleon has a pattern on it's chest like the clothes king louis the 14th ( it might be another king but I'm pretty sure it's a French king ) wore in paintings but I'm not sure about the fire type maybe Torchic because the France national football (soccer) team has a rooster for a logo or Scorbunny because football (soccer) is pretty big in France
On a completely different note, I think it could be cool if they let you customize your mega ring in some way or even make it a different accessory as mega's are coming back
They need to completely revamp their customization. Not just hair or face, but everything. The mobile games have so many awesome costumes and accessories, it would be so cool to have those in the mainline games, even if some look ridiculous. Like in Pokemon Go you can have Giratina wings, or costumes based on certain pokémon like a Snorlax hoodie and stuff. Many of them are kinda cringy and edgy, but it would be cool to have stuff like that and make our characters more diverse and unique.
The synthetic Pokemon is probably Magearna "Magearna was created by a scientist 500 years ago. The sphere in this Pokémon's chest is known as the Soul-Heart, and the scientist created it by collecting life energy from Pokémon. The Soul-Heart is the true body of Magearna." It definitely wasn't created in Alola, where Magearna is first introduced in the mainline games. Also in the movies it was introduced in gen 6.
Agreed, Magearna also has a direct connection to Infinity Energy (aka Pokemon's life force/energy), which the scientist must've known about (and maybe was related to Devon Corp.? hard to tell the timeline for that). The Magearna movie does give it a rather intriguing backstory, possibly related to AZ, despite not being a totally canon source so it's worth a watch. But I gotta say, Alola has some of the weirdest mythicals, which coincidentally was the last gen they introduced at least 3 mythicals since gen 4, stopping in gen 8 due to DLC mons being a thing. Only one that makes some sort of sense to me is Marshadow lol.
@Kawasabi Ttar said that synthetic pokemon are not supposed to be looking like a robot so I don't think thats the case, also he said it's the last pokemon you would think about and magearna is probably the first.
the scientist did create Magearna for the kings daughter, one of the dex entries it has mentions this so maybe, the scientist knew about infinte energy and shared it with the king and the descendants of the kings line could of been Devon Corp as Steven Stones dad or grandfather first researched the infinite energy as we see on sea mauville in ORAS
@williamoshea6437 But Khu was right about many things in the past. That can't all come from him randomly guessing. Guess right one time means you're lucky, guess right several times means you're smart, guess right that many times? Then you must have inside information. So either he's trolling due to fear of being sued or something, or there's more to this than what we currently know.
@@opswhyyou7216maybe he was only close to development of sv and didn't have much info on what was next, so decided to have some fun? The thing you mentioned about potentially avoiding getting into trouble with it could definitely be a factor too.
You should talk about how it’s a redevelopment plan for lumiose not just a development plan. This game might take place after the ultimate weapons and we have to rebuild lumiose city
Yh meaning it was already a city established before but something happened causing it to go into a redevelopment we can see how its a redevelopment as the trailer shows a 3d blueprint outline and concept sketches of a final lumiose city.
the Lumiose urban redevelopment plan is analogous to the real-world Haussman’s renovation of Paris (1850-1870), which was about encouraging new urban growth and beautification by means of demolishing Paris’s decaying medieval neighborhoods
Yeah im not sure why people think this is taking place in the present or future. It's pretty clear to me that this is the plan to build the Lumiose that we see in X&Y
The Kalos Civil War 3000 years ago was between King AZ and his younger brother (Lysander’s Ancestor). This is the war in which Pokémon were sacrificed to create Infinity Energy to power the Ultimate Weapon. The blast from that fused with evolutionary stones which became Mega Stones. There was another war 300 years ago which took place between Kalos and neighbouring regions (presumably Galar, Paldea, etc.). Kalos won this war and the King (someone related to the family of AZ, his younger brother, and Lysander) built the Parfum Palace to show his glory. He probably got help from The Royals of Unova which is why there are statues of Reshiram and Zekrom at the Palace.
Nothing says the war was between AZ and his brother...? In fact, a Game Informer interview with Junichi Masuda says this. "The war was a clash between two different countries. People treated Pokémon with special powers as mere tools in their conflict. They gathered lots of Pokémon and Pokémon with unique powers. This long conflict was drawn out and many lives were lost. In order to emerge victorious, the soldiers believed that they needed even more powerful Pokémon. AZ loved his Pokémon, which he had received from his late mother, but it was forcefully taken from him by the soldiers. His Pokémon ended up becoming just another sacrifice in the war. Distraught with grief, AZ began work on his machine. Little did he know that his creation would bring great sorrow to the world." You probably misinterpreted the information gathered from the library shelves in Lysandre Labs (readily readable on Bulbapedia), in which it mentions AZ being the King of Kalos, him having a younger brother, who "led a legion of greedy souls", wanting to take over the Kalos region, but changed his mind when he saw the aftermath of the war, resulting in him burying the weapon. The only thing we know about the countries that were at war was one side being "a wealthy Kalos" versus another country that wasn't as well off, possibly being on the other end of the mountains (most likely those in the south to southeast of Kalos since they're mainly shown there), as implied in the following research material: "The mountains will never know one another, but people can encounter other people. And people and Pokémon mix together. Over the ages, people and Pokémon worked alongside one another and created many things. As a result of this, a leader appeared among the humans. That leader sought to produce even more goods. Increased production of goods created a gap between haves and have-nots." The last line refers to AZ, as "The king was proud of the technology he had used to bring Kalos prosperity,...". This further proves Kalos was made to be a wealthy country due to the technology AZ used. While it's never stated he created or made any of the technology, I'm sure whatever technology he used is likely the same stuff the ultimate weapon is made out of.
Remember the mega evolution series ended with no closure we gonna get all them answers in this game if they do it right and have looker ancestor or something in here would be crazy I think we gonna be an undercover police agent or something
Just thought of a name for Zygrade's counterpart being Adegrade. Adegrade literality translating into dégrader in french which means to degrade, which could be a move or ability for the pokemon. But I don't think game freak would do anything that obvious.
Your 100% correct so I made another theory. What if the name was Avantgarde. Avantgarde basically means that it is technology ahead of its time. What if the Pokémon was a "synthetic variant" of Zygarde that was dangerous because of how advanced it was. Idk but at least works this time.
If there is a group that uses technology based machines I imagine potentially they could be behind both Volcanion and Magearna. As both are Pokémon based on machinery. One thing I really wonder is with Magearna seen as while it is a mythical from gen 7 not 6 both its lore and design feel like they can relate back to kalos, the lore being that it was made using the soul heart from LIFE ENERGY, which of course the ultimate weapon could harvest. And while yes the Pokédex says Magearna is from 500 years ago there could well be versions that are much earlier and the current one was designed based on these of the past.
This game is taking place in the 1850’s she’s not even born yet💀 so unless she was ripped from her timeline that’s the only way she would play a role but we don’t even know if it’s a time travel scenario like PLA.
@Ghostface1998 Is that so? I thought that the game was about building upon the city. It seems far too modern for the game to take place back then. Guess we'll have to wait till thay give more information.
@@valarus2562 Look up 1850s architecture, it's definitely not "modern" but it very much resembles large cities like Lumiose. Also the Eiffel tower was built in 1889, which clearly the tower in Lumiose is supposed to represent.
glad you can get mythicals in legends games. i hope there are mageurna, hoopa, volcanion and dianci side quests so you dont have to go out to a store and buy them. makes them more interesting
There’s still a mystery surrounding “The Giant Man Az” not to mention his Floette. Az’s Floette was in the coding in X & Y, wonder if we can actually get one in Legends: Z-A
My 3 most favorite things in the whole world in 1 game. 1-pokemon. 2. Mega Evolutions. And 3. Legends games. Legends Arceus was Fire. Now Mega Evolution in a Legends game. So hyped. Cannot wait.
The Mega Stones being part of that synthetic thing could make sense given the Pokedex almost always mentions the Mega Evolution injuring or bringing pain to the Pokemon
My first thought for this secretly synthetic Pokémon is the Floette line, especially Florges. Maybe you’ll say it makes no sense but it does fit the bill of ‘we wouldn’t expect it’ XD. It always bothered me that the third evolution was this amalgamation of an actual flower and this fairy being thing. I hardly ever comment but I want to thank you for keeping me company when I was trapped in the bathroom for 1.5 hours 2 days ago (doorknob fell off!). All I had was my Bluetooth headphones and your video on Riddler Khu’s tweets, and I decided to play it on repeat (about 12 times) for company cause I was anxious about when someone would rescue me. I also cleaned the whole bathroom cause I had nothing else to do! Your theory videos are the BEST and I’m grateful that you keep on making them! Thank you from a longtime viewer (I still wear my gold Believe in the Peeko shirt!)
Bro I remember watching you before HGSS… You’ve had an amazing impact on me growing up. It makes me almost want to cry seeing you still going strong. THANK YOU!!! ❤
I started watching your channel when X & Y first came out in middle school. Haven’t watched you in years as I fell off the Pokemon wave, but I’m so glad you’re still making content. Can’t wait to see more videos on Z!
Mega evolution did not exist until after the ultimate weapon was fired. Info taken straight from X&Y: Professor Sycamore theorizes that Mega Stones are the results of Evolution stones being irradiated by the power of XerneasX or YveltalY, the Legendary Pokémon of life and destruction, when AZ first used the ultimate weapon.
Ya know...before the huge rumors of unova and johto remakes, people were really pushing the notion that the dlc was supposed to be southern Kalos. What if the new legends game depicts the war between Kalos and Paldea (hence why it is coming out now as opposed to Unova which should have been scheduled next)? Assuming this speculation is correct, it would mean mega evolution vs terastallization. There were already hints that a lot of fighting went on in Paldea with the ruins, legends, and such in the region..maybe they thought this was the perfect time to tie both stories together.
In the flashback explaining the war, it says that Floette knew multiple lives were used to bring it back. Maybe AZ didn’t have the power of the legendaries, but used life energy of many other pokemon. And those pokemon he used could be the ones that ended up with mega stones since it used their life energy.
I mean all mega stones being synthetic (as opposed to Charizard X & the Mewtwonites as fan theorised) would get around the hole in the current explanation: in X/Y, Sycamore said he believed that the mega stones were said to be evolution stones modified due to being irradiated by Xerneas/Yveltal when the Ultimate Weapon was fired (e.g Leaf Stone-> Venusaurite) But if all stones are synthetic then would explain in universe how Kalos (where the weapon was, didnt get all the megas but Hoenn did & how there are sellers of mega stones when there should be a finite amount (in Kalos & Hoenn Plus explains how types that dont have evolution stones can have megas (e.g water Stone becoming Blastoisite is one thing but a Leaf Stone becoming Steelixite is another).
in terms of synthetic pokemon there are def a number that we're aware of: •The Porygon line is the obvious one that comes to mind, but does this game take place in a time with computers? Probably not, if it's to do w/ the Kalos War •Magearna was a synthetic pokemon that's much older than Porygon, but it was still created much more recently than the War (~500y as opposed to ~3000y) •Other pokemon that have come to being around human effects such as Grimer? •I'm fully on the Ditto-Are-Failed-Mew-Clones theory so I'm counting Ditto
Itd be cool af if AZ made the Ultimate Weapon by using the crystals from Area Zero. The Ultimate Weapon (when it opens up) look SO much like the crystals you can find in Area Zero, consuming the trees and all.
Something to note is that because of the ancient weapon firing the Pokémon timeline splits into mega and nonmega, which we might see tackled in the game
>AZ on Team Synth as an engineer with goal to make pokémon more suitable do productivity > AZ meets Floette and falls in love with natural beauty > Floette dies in battle > AZ makes ultimate weapon and shoots it > Following radiation makes mega stones of afflicted mons caught in the blast.
I think the starters will be either snivy or sprigatito (both have the royalty theme with inspiration from the fleur-de-lis symbol) Piplup Final evolution takes inspiration from Napoleon and royalty again. Prince from Prinplup and Emperor from Empoleon. I could also see arguments for Quaxly and Popplio but frankly, I think Piplup is the best option. and finally, out of the remaining fire starters I could see Scorbunny being the best choice. Soccer (football) is also quite big in France with the country having won 2 World Cups and recently playing the last two finals. *Have to keep in mind Cyndaquil was already used in Legends Arceus and Charmander and Fennekin are not as likely considering they were both starters in Kalos. Of course the final evolutions would be different but I am excited to see where they go with these starters 😊
@@G-B-F123 It's like 9x more likely to be Snivy than Sprigatito. Serperior is on Parfum Palace + Kalos and Unova were closely related lore wise and GameFreak is focusing on Gen 5 more recently.
Backing up your theory, the mega evolution symbol kind of looks like a strand of DNA. Maybe it was some sort of ancient DNA capsule in a stone which, when activated triggers that "Synthetic form" aka mega evolution
I have a theory about “pre-urban variants”, which is basically some Pokémon that changed form when Lumiose City was remodeled, to fit the new environment
@@cael4065 ground type, maybe? It has dry skin as an ability already, so we could look into it before it began eating up city power. I think Helioptile would look so cute 😊
So an idea that just came to my mind is that Mega Evolution is a side effect of Tera shards in Paldea. Seeing as the two regions border each other it would make sense that some of the power from Paldea leaked over to Kalos. That’s also why Hoenn has Mega evolution available to them is the small land of Kitakami also having minute amounts of Tera energy. It would make sense why the weapon looks so different from the flashbacks because it has been covered in Tera crystals. The power from the Tera crystals in Paldea and Kitakami have leaked over into surrounding regions, hence why we did not have mega evolution in BlackWhite, Black2White2 was because Blueberry Academy was fairly new to the region and is contained to the terrarium out in the ocean off the coast of Unova. Someone could have used the small amount of Tera crystals to make synthetic mega stones to mimick the ones found naturally in the region (or both could be synthetic with one being used to hold the power and the others could be more permanent evolutions that either have higher power or even cause more pain) to the pokemon hence the two sides ( one natural and one synthetic)
What if Mewtwo made its own mega stones. Maybe it was scared because all of these other pokemon were getting megas and testing its power. So it could have mind controlled some scientist to make two mega stones for it.
Between the cloned Pokémon in the first Pokémon movie and man-made pokemon, regional and convergent Pokémon, Ultra beasts and paradox Pokémon I wouldn't be surprised if "synthetic" Pokémon were to ve introduced in a different kind of way
We couldn’t have been using mega evolution during the war because the energy released from the blast from using the ultimate weapon IS the what created mega stones in the first place
So far my theory is that in future Lumiose city when Clement is making Violet Paradox mons for the first time they decide to renovate parts of the city and unearth blueprints that lead to an underground cavern filled with Tera crystals and the controls for the ultimate and weapon turning the entire city into an energy siphon and Prism Tower into a rail gun.
One thought I had was that what if the side that won the war was actually the technology advanced side which would explain why AZ had access to the weapon. And the other “natural” side used Pokémon like ash greninja where the trainers changed the form of their Pokémon with a more natural bond and the reason they’re not around anymore is because their methods got wiped out by the ultimate weapon and maybe megas was an attempt to try and replicate that? Which would also somewhat explain why some Pokémon seem to suffer in their megas because they’re trying to cause a natural change with their technology.
Ttar my boy, you are COOKING 🔥 always wondered why AZ’s Floette was special besides being revived. I believe you are correct about the BST being similar to paradoxes as well when Gamefreak was considering dropping it as an event mon. Volcanion may be a synthetic as well due to its unnatural typing 🤫 keep up the great work brother but don’t burn yourself out! We got a whole year damn near to go thru these theories. Much love!
I just pray we will get a bunch of brand new mega evolutions. Im not talking 10-16, I want 40-50. If they are truly taking their time with this project I see no reason why they couldn’t add just a bunch of new megas.
DEOXYS is a good candidate for “synthetic” Pokémon maybe it’s like a black box that was launched into space in order to preserve the research while also avoiding the impact of Az’s weapon
